  • TX/RX Mode Switch: Located on the side, slide to select Transmitter (TX) or Receiver (RX) mode.
  • A Button: Used for pairing and CODEC switching (for the first connected device).
  • B Button:0 Used for pairing and CODEC switching (for the second connected device in dual pairing).
  • Indicator Lights: Multiple LED indicators (Red, Green, Blue) to show status, mode, and active CODEC.
  • 3.5mm Audio Jack: For connecting to audio input/output devices.
  • USB-C Port: For charging the device.

5. Charging the Device

The BM-LE505 has a built-in 250mAh battery, providing extended usage time.

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the BM-LE505.
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The device will fully charge in approximately 2 hours.
  4. A full charge provides up to 20 hours of operation in RX (Receiver) mode and up to 12 hours in TX (Transmitter) mode.

6. Setup and Pairing

6.1. General Connection Diagram

The BM-LE505 can function as both a transmitter and a receiver. Refer to the diagram below for typical connection scenarios:

6.2. Transmitter (TX) Mode Setup

Use TX mode to transmit audio wirelessly from non-Bluetooth devices (e.g., TV, PC, MP3 player) to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

  1. Switch to TX Mode: Slide the TX/RX switch on the side of the device to the "TX" position.
  2. Connect to Audio Source: Plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the BM-LE505's audio jack and the other end into the audio output port of your non-Bluetooth device (e.g., PC, TV, MP3 player).
  3. Enter Pairing State: Click either the A or B pairing button on the BM-LE505. The corresponding indicator light (A or B) will flash quickly, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  4. Pair with Bluetooth Device: Put your Bluetooth headphones or speaker into pairing mode.
  5. Connection Successful: Once connected, the A or B indicator light on the BM-LE505 will remain steadily lit. You can now enjoy wireless audio.

6.3. Receiver (RX) Mode Setup

Use RX mode to receive audio wirelessly from Bluetooth-enabled devices (e.g., smartphone, tablet, laptop) and play it through non-Bluetooth audio equipment (e.g., wired speakers, car stereo, wired headphones).

  1. Switch to RX Mode: Slide the TX/RX switch on the side of the device to the "RX" position.
  2. Connect to Audio Output Device: Plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the BM-LE505's audio jack and the other end into the audio input port of your non-Bluetooth audio playback device (e.g., speaker, wired headphones, car stereo).
  3. Enter Pairing State: Click either the A or B pairing button on the BM-LE505. The corresponding indicator light (A or B) will flash quickly, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  4. Pair with Bluetooth Device: On your smartphone, tablet, or laptop, search for Bluetooth devices and select "LE505" to connect.
  5. Connection Successful: Once connected, the A or B indicator light on the BM-LE505 will remain steadily lit. You can now stream audio wirelessly.

7. Operating Modes and Features

7.1. Dual Pairing Functionality

The BM-LE505 supports connecting to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, enhancing your audio sharing experience.

  • In TX Mode: You can connect two Bluetooth headsets or two Bluetooth speakers. This allows two people to share audio signals from a single source, perfect for watching movies or gaming together.
  • In RX Mode: You can connect two Bluetooth source devices (e.g., two smartphones). You can then switch between the audio signals from these two devices at will, playing audio instantly from either source.

7.2. AptX Low Latency & CODEC Switching

The BM-LE505 supports various audio CODECs, including aptX Low Latency, to minimize audio delay, especially crucial for gaming and video synchronization.

  • In TX mode, you can switch between multiple audio encodings.
  • To switch the audio CODEC, double-click the corresponding A or B button.
  • The device supports SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, and aptX LL (Low Latency).
  • With aptX Low Latency, the audio delay is less than 40 milliseconds, providing an immersive experience.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your BM-LE505, please try the following steps:

  1. No Power: Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to a power source using the Type-C cable.
  2. Cannot Pair:
    • Make sure the BM-LE505 is in the correct mode (TX or RX) for your intended use.
    • Ensure the BM-LE505 and your target Bluetooth device are both in pairing mode (indicator lights flashing).
    • Bring the devices closer together (within 10 meters / 33 feet).
    • Clear previous Bluetooth connections on both devices and try pairing again.
    • Restart both the BM-LE505 and the target Bluetooth device.
  3. No Sound / Poor Sound Quality:
    • Check if the 3.5mm audio cable is securely connected to both the BM-LE505 and the audio source/output device.
    • Ensure the volume levels on both the BM-LE505 and the connected audio devices are adjusted appropriately.
    • Verify that the correct audio input/output is selected on your source/output device.
    • Try switching the audio CODEC (double-click A or B button in TX mode) to see if it improves sound quality.
    • Reduce interference by moving away from other wireless devices (Wi-Fi routers, microwaves).
  4. Intermittent Connection:
    • Ensure the devices are within the 10-meter (33-foot) transmission range.
    • Avoid physical obstructions between the BM-LE505 and the connected Bluetooth device.
    • Re-pair the devices.

9. Care and Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Avoid exposure to moisture, rain, or liquids.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device. This will void the warranty and may cause damage.
  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
  • When not in use for extended periods, charge the device at least once every three months to prolong battery life.
