3.1 Powering the Device
Connect the EL15 to a 5V 2A power source using the provided USB Type-C cable. The USB TYPE-C Power Input Port (5) is located on the rear of the device.
3.2 Connecting the Load
The EL15 supports both local and remote measurement configurations.
3.2.1 Local Measurement
Suitable for quick measurement scenarios. Connect the positive (red) and negative (blue) load wires from the source under test directly to the 4mm Load Input Ports (1 and 3) on the EL15.

3.2.2 Remote Measurement
Suitable for high-precision measurement scenarios. In addition to the two load wires (positive and negative) for current transmission, two remote compensation wires (connected to the XT30 male connector) are used for detecting the actual output voltage of the source under test. Connect the XT30 male connector to the Remote Compensation Input Port (2).

4. Operating Modes
The EL15 offers a variety of measurement modes accessible via the multi-function keyboard (6) and the 1.9-inch IPS LCD Screen (4).
4.1 Basic Measurement Modes
These modes allow the EL15 to operate as a constant current, voltage, resistance, or power load.

- Constant Current Mode (CC): The load will draw a constant current at the set value, regardless of input voltage changes.
- Constant Voltage Mode (CV): The load maintains the input voltage at a constant value by drawing current.
- Constant Resistance Mode (CR): The load acts as a constant resistor, dynamically adjusting the load current according to the input voltage.
- Constant Power Mode (CP): Dynamically adjusts the load current to make the load consume constant power.
4.2 Battery Measurement Mode
This mode is ideal for evaluating battery performance.

- Capacity Test (CAP): By recording discharge time and current under constant-current discharge, the actual capacity of a battery or energy storage device is calculated. Applicable for battery capacity evaluation, energy storage device testing, battery aging analysis, and product quality inspection.
- DC Internal Resistance Measurement (DCR): The DC internal resistance, derived from the voltage change between two pulsed load currents, is a key parameter for evaluating a power supply's power characteristics, output performance, and state of health.
4.3 Power Supply Measurement Mode
Designed for comprehensive power supply evaluation.

- Dynamic Test (DT): Simulates real-world load changes with alternating current levels to evaluate power supply response speed, efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Automatic Test (AUTO): Streamlines testing with one-click automation. After configuring initial rated termination and step currents, the system provides a comprehensive suite of metrics, including rated power, voltage to maximum current, power, and load regulation.
4.4 Advanced Measurement Mode
For more complex and automated testing sequences.

- List Test (LIST): Stores up to 10 sets of current and duration parameters to perform complex testing under multiple conditions. Useful for dynamic performance testing, automated verification, and quality control.
- Scan Test (SCAN): By setting low current, high current, and rise/fall time, dynamic response performance testing of the device under test can be realized.
4.5 Screen Interfaces
The 1.9-inch IPS LCD screen provides intuitive navigation and data display.

- Main Interface: Displays real-time measurements (voltage, current, power) and current operating mode.
- Setting Interface: Allows configuration of device parameters such as screen off time, temperature units, language, and buzzer settings.
- Measurement Interface: Provides detailed real-time data for the selected measurement mode.
- Automatic Measurement Report Interface: Shows results and statistics after completing an automatic test.
5. Bluetooth Function
The EL15 features Bluetooth connectivity for remote control and data monitoring via a mobile application.
5.1 Mobile App
The official mobile app is named "ATK-xTOOL" and is available for both Android and iOS devices.
5.2 Connection Steps

- Open the mobile app "ATK-xTOOL" on your smartphone or tablet.
- Scan for Bluetooth devices within the app.
- Find and select the EL15 device from the list.
- Once the connection is successful, click to enter the EL15 Operation Interface within the app.
6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ALIENTEK EL15, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquids enter the device.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
- Ventilation: Ensure the radiator air inlets (8) and outlets (7) are clear of obstructions to allow for proper airflow and heat dissipation.
- Cable Care: Inspect all cables (USB, alligator clips, XT30) regularly for any signs of wear or damage. Replace damaged cables immediately.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your EL15, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Device Not Powering On: Ensure the USB Type-C power cable is securely connected to a 5V 2A power source. Try a different USB cable or power adapter.
- No Load Detected: Check that the load wires are correctly and securely connected to the 4mm Load Input Ports. Verify the source under test is providing power.
- Inaccurate Readings: If using remote measurement, ensure the compensation wires are correctly connected and the remote measurement option is selected in the device settings. Check for loose connections.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device. Ensure the EL15 is within range. Restart both the EL15 and the "ATK-xTOOL" app.
- Over-temperature Warning: Check that the cooling fans are operating and that the air inlets/outlets are not blocked. Reduce the load if the warning persists.
