Setup

Initial Power On

  1. Press the power button down to turn on the device.
  2. The green indicator light will turn on, followed by the traffic lights flashing alternately for a few seconds.
  3. The device will then automatically enter recording mode.

  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone (Android 9.0 or above, or Apple phone).
  • Download and install the Zhilian APP from your device's app store.
  • Open the APP and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your VTR5900.
  • Once connected, you can instantly transfer audio files, perform transcription, and utilize translation features.

OTG Connection for Data Transfer

The VTR5900 features a built-in OTG function, allowing direct connection to a phone for data interaction without an adapter.

Operating Instructions

Recording

The VTR5900 automatically enters recording mode upon power-on. It features 360ยฐ omnidirectional pickup with a 10m long-range capability, suitable for various environments.

  • Automatic Recording: After powering on, the device automatically begins recording. The green indicator light will turn on, and traffic lights will flash alternately before recording starts.
  • Power Failure Protection: In case of low power or unexpected shutdown, the device automatically saves the current recording file to prevent data loss.

Intelligent Noise Reduction

Shutdown

  • To stop recording and turn off the device, push the power button up.
  • The recording will be saved automatically before the device powers off.

Using Headphones

  • During Boot Recording: If headphones are required during the boot recording process, open the USB cover and insert the headphones. This will automatically save the current recording and start playing the current recording file.
  • When Turned Off: If the device is off and you wish to use headphones, remove the USB cover, insert the headphones, and then turn on the device. It will automatically play the first recorded file.
  • Playback Control:
    • Short press the "up/down" button twice in a row to switch between tracks.
    • Each short press of the "up/down" button adjusts the volume.
    • Press the play button on the headphones to pause playback.

Voice-to-Text and Translation

Maintenance

Replacing the Pen Refill

The VTR5900 uses a replaceable pen refill for continuous writing functionality.
