3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up your Ottocast E2 AI Box:
- Step 1: Plug in the Device
Connect the Ottocast E2 AI Box to your car's USB port. Ensure your car's engine is running or the ignition is on.

- Step 2: Enable Bluetooth & Wi-Fi on Your Phone
On your smartphone (iPhone or Android), turn on both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
- Step 3: Pair with Ottocast E2
On your car's display, you should see a prompt to connect to "Ottocast E2".
- For CarPlay (iPhone): Select "Use CarPlay" when prompted to pair with "Ottocast E2". CarPlay will automatically connect.
- For Android Auto (Android Phone): Accept the Bluetooth pairing request for "Ottocast E2" and confirm the passkey displayed on your car's screen.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
Once paired, the Ottocast E2 provides a seamless wireless experience for both CarPlay and Android Auto. It features automatic connection, easy switching between iOS and Android devices, and a fast response time (approximately 12 seconds).

4.2. Full App Access & Multitasking
The E2 AI Box runs on Android 13.0, allowing you to download and use various applications directly on your car's display via the Google Play Store. This includes navigation, communication, and entertainment apps. The device supports split-screen functionality, enabling you to run multiple applications simultaneously and resize them with a simple drag (e.g., 3:7, 5:5, 7:3 ratios).

4.3. Cloud SIM 3.0 Connectivity

- SIM Card Usage: If you do not plan to use the built-in SIM card slot for internet connectivity, the regional version of the device (Eurasian, North American, Japanese) does not affect functionality. You can rely on your mobile hotspot or other internet sources.
- Remote Control: The remote control accessory is sold separately and does not include the E2 AI Box features. It is intended for users who already own an E2 AI Box and wish to add remote functionality. The remote itself does not support wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, or any other core functions of the E2 AI Box.
- Initial Connection: Ensure your car's wired CarPlay system is functioning correctly before connecting the Ottocast E2.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check for FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) updates to ensure optimal performance and access to the latest features.
