Assembly Instructions
Assembly typically requires two adults. Please follow these steps carefully. A Phillips head screwdriver may be required (not included).
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Lay out all components on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Refer to the parts list (if provided separately or in the package) to identify each piece.
- Assemble Bed Base: Connect the side rails to the headboard and footboard sections using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are snug but do not overtighten until the entire frame is assembled.
- Install Window Panels: Attach the decorative window panels to the designated sections of the bed frame.
- Construct Roof Frame: Assemble the house-shaped roof frame pieces according to the diagram. Secure them to the bed base.
- Tighten All Connections: Once the entire bed frame is assembled, go back and securely tighten all screws and bolts.
- Install LED Lights: Carefully string the LED light strip along the roof frame or desired areas. Ensure the lights are securely attached and the power source (e.g., battery pack or plug) is accessible and safely positioned away from children.
- Place Mattress: Position your twin-size mattress directly onto the floor within the assembled bed frame. Note: This bed does not include slats; the mattress rests directly on the floor.

Operating Instructions
The KOMFOTT Twin Floor House Bed is designed for ease of use and to foster a child's independence.
- Using the Bed: The low-to-ground design allows children to easily get in and out of bed independently.
- LED Lights: The integrated LED light strip provides ambient lighting. Locate the power switch or battery pack for the LED lights. Turn the lights ON/OFF as desired. Ensure the power source is safely managed and out of reach of very young children if it's a battery pack.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the wooden surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the wood finish.
- Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability and safety.
- LED Lights: If the LED lights dim or stop working, check the power source (e.g., replace batteries if battery-operated, or check the plug connection if wall-powered).
- Wood Care: To maintain the natural wood finish, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme humidity.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bed feels wobbly or unstable. | Loose hardware connections. | Check and tighten all screws and bolts. Ensure all parts are correctly aligned. |
| LED lights are not working. | No power, loose connection, or depleted batteries. | Check if the power source is connected. If battery-operated, replace batteries. Ensure the light strip is properly plugged in or connected. |
| Parts do not fit during assembly. | Incorrect orientation or mismatched parts. | Review the assembly diagrams carefully. Ensure you are using the correct parts for each step. Do not force parts together. |
