1. Introduction
The TOOLTOP T3 is a compact, high-resolution infrared thermal camera designed for use with Android mobile devices. It offers advanced thermal imaging capabilities, including real-time temperature tracking, photo and video recording, and various temperature analysis modes. Its plug-and-play Type-C USB interface ensures wide compatibility and ease of use for a range of applications from industrial inspections to home diagnostics.

Important Notes
To ensure accurate measurements and correct non-uniformity, a mechanical control calibration plate is installed in front of the thermal imaging detector. This plate calibrates approximately every 10 seconds, causing a brief pause of about 1-3 seconds. This is a normal operational phenomenon and not a malfunction.
2. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the thermal camera and any accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the 'Package List' are present.
- App Installation: Download and install the 'YaoGuang Zhigan' application on your Android mobile device. This app is required for the camera's functionality.
- Connecting the Camera: Plug the Type-C USB connector of the TOOLTOP T3 thermal camera into your Android mobile device's Type-C port. The device is plug-and-play.
- Macro Lens Attachment (Optional): If you have the 'T3 and Macro Lens' model, attach the magnetic macro lens to the thermal camera for enhanced observation of small components and PCBs.
- Initial Launch: Open the 'YaoGuang Zhigan' app. The app should automatically detect the connected thermal camera and display the thermal image.

4. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could damage the lens or casing.
- Storage: Store the thermal camera in its provided storage bag in a cool, dry place. The recommended storage temperature is -20°C to +60°C.
- Humidity: Ensure the storage environment has a humidity level between 10% and 90% RH (non-condensing).
5. Troubleshooting
- Image Freezing/Pause: If the image briefly freezes or pauses for 1-3 seconds, this is a normal phenomenon due to the internal mechanical calibration of the thermal imaging detector. No action is required.
- No Image Display:
- Ensure the camera is securely plugged into your Android device's Type-C port.
- Verify that the 'YaoGuang Zhigan' app is installed and open.
- Check if your Android device is compatible with external USB cameras and has sufficient power.
- Inaccurate Temperature Readings:
- Ensure the emissivity setting in the app is correctly adjusted for the material being measured. The default is 0.95.
- Allow the camera to stabilize in the environment before taking critical measurements.
