Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your GIEC G5800 player:

  1. Placement: Place the player on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the provided AC power cable to the player's power input and then to a wall outlet. The player supports 220V~240V, 50Hz power.
  3. Video Connection (HDMI): Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on the GIEC G5800 and the other end to an HDMI input on your TV or AV receiver. For 4K UHD and Dolby Vision, ensure your display and receiver support these technologies and use a high-speed HDMI cable.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

  • Power On: Press the power button on the front panel or the remote control.
  • Power Off: Press the power button again to turn off the player.

Remote Control

The included backlight remote control provides full functionality. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly.

Disc Playback

  1. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front panel or remote to open the disc tray.
  2. Place a disc (UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, CD, etc.) gently into the tray with the label side up.
  3. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray.
  4. The player will automatically detect the disc and begin playback or display a menu.

Media Playback from USB/HDD/NAS

The GIEC G5800 supports playback from USB drives, internal hard drives (HDD), and Network Attached Storage (NAS).

  • Connect your USB drive to one of the USB ports.
  • Navigate the user interface using the remote control to select the desired media source (USB, HDD, or NAS).
