1. Product Overview
The JONSBO BO400 is a high-performance ATX computer chassis designed for enthusiasts seeking both aesthetics and functionality. It features an aluminum alloy frame, tempered glass side panels, and a back-connect design for a clean build. The case supports a wide range of components, including large GPUs and extensive water-cooling solutions.

2. Package Contents
Upon unboxing your JONSBO BO400 ATX Case, please verify that all the following items are included:
- JONSBO BO400 Computer Case
- Graphics Card Holder Kit
- Replaceable Glass Cover (for top panel)
- Screw Box (containing various screws for component installation)
- User Guide (this document)

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Preparing the Case
The BO400 features a tool-less design for easy access. The top cover, side panels, and bottom plate can be opened and closed without tools, simplifying installation and maintenance.

3.2 Motherboard Installation
The BO400 is compatible with MINI-ITX, MICRO-ATX, and ATX motherboards, including those with a back-connect design. Install your motherboard into the designated area, ensuring proper alignment with the standoffs.

3.3 Drive Installation
The BO400 back compartment contains two independent hard disk compartments. It supports:
- Up to 2 x 2.5-inch SSDs (shared with 3.5-inch mounting slots)
- Up to 4 x 3.5-inch HDDs
Both inside and outside the hard disk bay can be utilized for installation.

3.4 GPU Installation
The case supports GPUs up to 435mm in length. Utilize the included graphics card holder kit for stable installation. The graphics card is cooled directly by bottom fans, ensuring efficient heat circulation.
The video card bracket offers front and rear 4-gear adjustment for different video card lengths. The upper and lower stepless adjustment prevents the front end of the graphics card from sagging due to gravity.

3.5 Power Supply Installation
The BO400 supports ATX PS2 power supplies with a maximum length of 200mm. The power supply is mounted at the top of the chassis.
3.6 Cooling System Installation (Fans & Radiators)
The BO400 offers extensive cooling options:
- Fan Support:
- Top: 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm fans
- Rear: 1 x 120mm fan
- Bottom: 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm fans
- Side: 3 x 120mm fans
- Water Cooling Support:
- Top: 240mm, 280mm, or 360mm radiators
- Side: 360mm radiators
- Bottom: 240mm, 280mm, or 360mm radiators
The case can be equipped with up to 10 x 120mm fans to quickly discharge heat. Top and bottom heat dissipation mounting slots are flexibly configurable. The bottom fan bracket can be adjusted to switch mounting height, allowing full display of the side visual light effect of the fan.

For air cooling, the case supports CPU coolers up to 173mm in height.

3.7 Cable Management
The BO400 is equipped with a motherboard cabling cover to block standard ATX motherboard cables, providing a clean installation experience. The rear I/O outlet can be routed using Velcro for bunching, helping to create a tidy desktop setup.

4. Operation
4.1 Front Panel Connectivity
The front panel provides convenient access to essential ports:
- 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
- 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C
- 1 x Audio Jack
- 1 x Microphone Jack

4.2 Customizable Side View Modes
The BO400 allows you to switch between different side view modes. The default metal top cover can be replaced with the included glass top cover, achieving a three-sided perspective effect on the top, front, and side.
This mode suggests:
- Install the CPU water-cooled heat sink onto the side of the motherboard and install a heat dissipation fan on the top.
- Reverse the top fan bracket and use the low position fan installation mode to still obtain a certain amount of airflow circulation and heat dissipation ability (or the top can also be left without a fan installed).

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning Dust Filters
The BO400 is equipped with dust filters at the top to help prevent dust buildup inside the chassis. Regularly clean these filters to maintain optimal airflow and cooling performance. The tool-less design allows for easy removal and reinstallation of panels for cleaning.
5.2 General Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces of the case. For tempered glass panels, a microfiber cloth with a mild glass cleaner can be used. Ensure all components are powered off and disconnected before cleaning.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your PC case. For specific component-related issues (e.g., motherboard, GPU, PSU), please refer to their respective manuals.
6.1 Overheating Issues
- Check Fan Orientation: Ensure all installed fans are oriented correctly for optimal airflow (intake/exhaust).
- Clean Dust Filters: Regularly clean the top dust filters and any other mesh areas to prevent airflow restriction.
- Verify Component Clearance: Ensure that large components like GPUs or CPU coolers are not obstructing airflow paths.
- Cable Management: Poor cable management can impede airflow. Re-route cables to allow for clear air passages.
6.2 Front Panel Port Malfunctions
- Check Internal Connections: Ensure the front panel cables (USB, Audio) are securely connected to the correct headers on your motherboard.
- Driver Issues: For USB or audio ports, ensure the latest motherboard drivers are installed.
6.3 Component Fit Issues
- Verify Specifications: Double-check component dimensions against the case specifications (e.g., Max GPU Length, Max CPU Cooler Height, Max PSU Length).
- Modular Design: The BO400's modular design allows for flexible configuration. Ensure all removable parts are correctly positioned.
