2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
The device requires 3x AAA batteries (not included). To install:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Open the cover.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2.2 Initial Calibration
For accurate measurements, perform an automatic calibration after powering on the device.
- Press the Power button (O/SET) to turn on the device.
- Press the ZERO/HOLD button. The display will show "CAL".

- The moisture percentage will be displayed on the HD screen. The analog bar will also indicate the moisture level (DRY, MID, WET).
- The device will also show MAX and MIN measured values, and ambient temperature.
3.4 Data Hold Function
To hold the current measurement on the screen:
- During measurement, press the ZERO/HOLD button. The "HOLD" symbol will appear on the display, and the reading will be frozen.
- Press the ZERO/HOLD button again to release the hold and resume live measurement.
3.5 Unit Switching (Temperature)
To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) for temperature display:
- Press the MIN/°C/°F button to toggle the temperature unit.
3.6 Alert Threshold Setting
The device provides dual-stage alert settings for moisture levels:
- MID (Moderate): 1% ~ 49%
- WET (Humid): 51% ~ 99%
