5. Setup Instructions

Installation of the MEKEDE LX10 decoding box requires careful connection of cables to your BMW's head unit. Professional installation is recommended if you are not familiar with car electronics.

5.1. Wiring Diagram and Connections

  • Power: Connect the power cable to the designated port on the decoding box and to your vehicle's power supply.
  • LVDS OUT & IN: Connect the LVDS cable from your car's head unit to the 'LVDS IN' port on the decoding box, and then connect the 'LVDS OUT' port from the decoding box to your car's display. Ensure the correct LVDS connector type is used for your BMW system (CCC, CIC, NBT, EVO).
  • MIC: If your original car does not have a microphone, connect the provided external microphone to the 'MIC' port.
  • ANT: Connect the WiFi antenna to the 'ANT' port for wireless connectivity.
