4. Setup and Connection

The DAREU LM60 mouse offers three connection modes: 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth, and wired. You can switch between these modes using the switch located on the bottom of the mouse.

4.1. 2.4G Wireless Mode

  1. Locate the 2.4G USB receiver in the package.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the '2.4G' position.
  4. The indicator light will flash green, then turn solid green when connected.
  5. Your mouse is now ready for use in 2.4G wireless mode.

4.2. Bluetooth Mode

  1. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the 'BT' (Bluetooth) position.
  2. The indicator light will flash blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. On your computer or device, open Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
  4. Select 'DAREU LM60' from the list of available devices to pair.
  5. The indicator light will turn solid blue once successfully paired.
  6. Your mouse is now ready for use in Bluetooth mode.

4.3. Wired Mode

  1. Connect the provided 1.6m braided USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the front of the mouse.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable (USB-A) to an available USB port on your computer.
  3. The mouse will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.
  4. No specific switch position is required for wired mode, but it's recommended to set the switch to 'OFF' or '2.4G' if you prefer wired-only operation without Bluetooth interference.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. DPI Adjustment

The DAREU LM60 mouse supports multiple DPI levels for different precision needs. You can cycle through the DPI settings (800/1200/2000/5000/8000/12000) using the dedicated CPI/DPI button, typically located on the top or bottom of the mouse. Refer to the software for advanced customization.

5.2. Polling Rate

The mouse operates at a 1KHz polling rate in both wired and 2.4G wireless modes, ensuring rapid response. In Bluetooth mode, the polling rate is 125Hz.

5.3. Charging and Battery Indicator

The DAREU LM60 is equipped with a 600mAh rechargeable lithium battery. Connect the mouse to your computer using the provided USB-C cable to charge. The indicator light provides feedback on the connection status:

  • 2.4G Mode: Green light flashing during connection, solid green when connected.
  • Bluetooth Mode: Blue light flashing during pairing, solid blue when connected.

6. Software and Customization

The DAREU LM60 mouse is compatible with the Daryou self-developed drive software. This software allows for advanced customization of button assignments, DPI settings, macros, and other performance parameters. It features a new UI interaction design for ease of use and supports on-board storage for your profiles.

  1. Download the latest Daryou drive software from the official DAREU website.
  2. Install the software on your computer.
  3. Connect your LM60 mouse (preferably in wired mode for initial setup).
  4. Launch the software to customize your mouse settings.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse surface. For stubborn stains, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no liquid enters the mouse. The high-precision polished surface is stain-resistant and easy to clean.
  • Footpads: The LM60 uses high-purity Teflon footpads for optimal glide. If the mouse glide performance degrades over time, you can replace the footpads using the provided replacements in the package.
  • Storage: Store the mouse in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Mouse not responding:
    - Ensure the mouse is charged. Connect it via USB cable.
    - Check the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse (2.4G, BT, or OFF). Ensure it's in the correct position for your desired connection.
    - For 2.4G mode, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into your computer.
    - For Bluetooth mode, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is properly paired.
    - Try connecting the mouse in wired mode to rule out wireless issues.
  • Lag or Disconnections:
    - For 2.4G wireless, ensure the receiver is not obstructed and is close to the mouse.
    - Avoid using the 2.4G receiver near other wireless devices that might cause interference.
    - For Bluetooth, ensure your device's Bluetooth drivers are up to date.
    - Ensure the mouse battery is not critically low.
  • DPI not changing:
    - Press the CPI/DPI button to cycle through settings. If it doesn't respond, try restarting the mouse or checking the software settings.
  • Buttons not working:
    - Check for any software conflicts or re-map buttons using the Daryou drive software.
