3.2 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the robot vacuum. Place the robot on the charging station, ensuring the charging contacts align. The indicator light will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 4-5 hours.
3.3 App Installation and Pairing
- Download the OKP APP from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Open the app and create an account or log in.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add your L6 Aqua robot vacuum. This usually involves connecting the robot to your home Wi-Fi network.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Starting/Pausing Cleaning
Press the power button on the robot or use the OKP app to start a cleaning cycle. Press again to pause. The robot will automatically return to its charging station when cleaning is complete or battery is low.
4.2 Cleaning Modes
The L6 Aqua supports multiple cleaning modes:
- Sweep Mode: For general dry debris.
- Vacuum Mode: For powerful suction, especially on carpets.
- Mop Mode: For wet cleaning hard floors.
4.3 Smart Navigation and Mapping
The robot uses dToF LiDAR navigation to create precise maps of your home. This allows for efficient cleaning routes and the ability to store up to 3 different floor plans for multi-level homes.
4.4 Customizing Cleaning with the App
Using the OKP app, you can:
- Set cleaning schedules.
- Define specific clean zones.
- Create up to 8 'No-Go Zones' to prevent the robot from entering certain areas (e.g., stairs, pet areas).
- Adjust suction power and water flow for mopping.
4.5 Voice Control
The L6 Aqua integrates with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. You can use simple voice commands to start cleaning or send the robot back to its charging station.
4.6 Auto-Recharge and Resume
When the battery level drops to 15%, the robot will automatically return to its charging station. Once recharged to 80%, it will resume cleaning from where it left off, ensuring no missed spots.
4.7 Carpet Detection
The L6 Aqua intelligently detects carpets. In mopping mode, it will avoid carpets to prevent wetting. In vacuuming mode, it will automatically boost suction for deeper cleaning on carpets.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum.
5.1 Dustbin and Filter Cleaning
The L6 Aqua features a visual dustbin and easy-to-install water tank. Empty the dustbin after each use. Clean the pre-filter and HEPA filter regularly (e.g., weekly) by tapping out debris or rinsing with water if specified (allow to air dry completely before reinstallation).
5.2 Water Tank and Mop Cloth Maintenance
After mopping, empty any remaining water from the water tank and clean the mop cloth. The mop cloth can typically be machine washed or hand washed and should be air-dried.
5.3 Brush Cleaning
Regularly check and clean the side brushes for tangled hair or debris. The L6 Aqua features an upgraded Zero-Tangle system with a brushless straight suction port to minimize hair tangles, but periodic inspection is still recommended.
5.4 Sensor Cleaning
Wipe the sensors (dToF LiDAR, PSD sensors, cliff sensors) with a clean, dry cloth to ensure accurate navigation and obstacle detection.
6. Troubleshooting
- Robot not charging: Ensure the charging station is plugged in and the robot's charging contacts are aligned with the station's. Clean contacts if dirty.
- Robot stuck or lost: Clear obstacles from the robot's path. If it frequently gets stuck, consider setting 'No-Go Zones' in the app.
- Poor cleaning performance: Empty the dustbin, clean or replace filters, and clean the brushes. Ensure the water tank is filled for mopping.
- App connectivity issues: Ensure your robot and smartphone are connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Restart the robot and your router if necessary.
- Voice control not working: Verify that your robot is correctly linked to your Alexa or Google Home account and that your voice commands are clear.
