Safety Precautions

  • Ensure all connections are secure before riding.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device.
  • Always prioritize road safety. Adjust settings or interact with the screen only when it is safe to do so, or when the motorcycle is stationary.
  • Avoid using a high-pressure water gun directly on the screen, camera, or tire pressure monitors.

Setup and Installation

1. Power Connection Precautions

  • The smart screen's power wire (Red ACC+12V) must be connected to your motorcycle's ACC+12V (not the B+ terminal on the battery).
  • The smart screen's negative wire (Black) must be connected to the negative terminal of your motorcycle's battery.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • If the smart screen's power wire (Red ACC+12V) is connected to the motorcycle's battery's constant power (B+), the screen will not turn off when the ignition is off, leading to battery drain.
  • If the smart screen's power wire (Red ACC+12V) is connected to a motorcycle with a power supply greater than 12V, it will burn out the smart screen. Ensure your power source is 12V.
  • The USB power supply is unstable; it is recommended to connect to the motorcycle's ACC+ (12V) for reliable operation.

2. Bracket Installation

  1. Twist the ball head onto the back clip until it is securely tightened.
  2. Utilize the variable diameter handle set to support original handlebars ranging from 12-28 cm, ensuring compatibility with various vehicle models.
  3. Install the main unit onto the bracket. Adjust its position to suit your vehicle model and riding preference, then tighten the screws to complete the installation.

  • Recording Time: Displays the current recording duration.
  • Homepage: Returns to the main screen.
  • Video Playback: Access recorded videos.
  • Stop/Start Recording: Controls video recording.
  • Swap Front and Rear Recordings: Switches between camera views.
  • Take a Photo: Captures a still image.

Connecting Mobile Phone to View Recorder:

  2. Scan the QR code displayed on the screen to download the companion APP to your mobile phone.
  3. Turn on the WiFi switch on your phone to connect to the display's WiFi (password: 12345678).
  4. After a successful connection, your mobile phone can display the recorder screen.

Note: Android phones can download videos to the local phone, while Apple phones can only download to iCloud.

5. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) (Optional)

If you have the optional TPMS installed, follow these steps for setup and monitoring:

  1. Set the tire pressure unit according to your requirement, either Bar or Psi.
  2. Set the air pressure alarm value according to different car models. The tire pressure will be red-warned if it is too low or too high compared to the set value.
  3. Tire Pressure Pairing: 'A' corresponds to the front wheel (FRO), 'B' corresponds to the rear wheel (BAC). Click to pair. Install the 'A' tire pressure sensor and activate it on the front wheel, then install the 'B' tire pressure sensor and activate it on the rear wheel.

Note: If the tire pressure value is not displayed, please pair again. If you need to replace a sensor, please unpair the old one and then pair with the new tire pressure sensor.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the screen. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Water Exposure: While the device is IP67 waterproof, avoid using a high-pressure water gun to rinse the screen, camera, and tire pressure monitor directly.
  • Cable Management: Periodically check all cables for wear and tear. Ensure they are securely fastened and not exposed to excessive strain or heat.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Screen does not turn off with ignition.
Solution: This indicates the power wire (Red ACC+12V) is connected to the motorcycle's constant battery power (B+) instead of the ACC+12V. Reconnect the red wire to an ACC+12V source that powers off with the ignition.
Problem: Screen does not power on or is damaged.
Solution: Ensure the power supply is exactly 12V. Connecting to a power supply greater than 12V can burn out the smart screen. Verify all wiring connections are correct and secure.
Problem: Tire pressure value is not displayed (for optional TPMS).
Solution: Try re-pairing the TPMS sensors. If replacing a sensor, ensure you unpair the old sensor before pairing the new one.
Problem: iPhone 15 or newer phones are not connecting to CarPlay.
Solution: Check for available firmware updates for the LEXXSON display. Ensure your iPhone's iOS is up to date and that CarPlay is enabled in your phone's settings. Sometimes, a simple restart of both devices can resolve connectivity issues.

User Tips
