Note: 3 x 1.5V AA Alkaline Batteries are NOT included and must be purchased separately.
3. Installation
3.1. Battery Installation
- Gently press the battery compartment latch to remove the shell of the TRV.
- Insert three 1.5V LR6 alkaline AA batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Align the latch and close the battery compartment shell securely.

3.2. Mounting the Device
- Remove your existing thermostatic valve head from the radiator.
- Select the appropriate adapter for your radiator valve type (Danfoss RA, RAV, RAVL, Caleffi, Giacomini, or M28*1.5mm). The TRV706Z is compatible with most radiators on the market.
- Attach the selected adapter to the valve interface on your radiator.
- Mount the TRV706Z device onto the adapter and secure it.

3.3. Initializing the Product
After mounting, short press the Mode button on the TRV. Wait for the initialization process to finish, which will be indicated by the temperature display stabilizing.

4. Network Configuration
The TRV706Z requires a Tuya ZigBee gateway for smart functionality. Ensure your ZigBee gateway is set up and connected to your Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz).
- Enter OFF Mode: Press and hold the Minus (-) button on the TRV until "OFF" appears on the screen.
- Activate Network Setup: Press and hold the Mode button on the TRV until a cycling animation appears on the screen, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- Open Tuya Smart Life App: On your smartphone, open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.
- Add Device: Tap the "+" icon or select "Add Device". The app should automatically scan for nearby devices.
- Enter Wi-Fi Information: If prompted, enter your Wi-Fi network details to connect the gateway (if not already connected).
- Complete Pairing: Once the device is discovered and added successfully, it will appear in your app. You can now control it using the app.

- LED Light Display: Shows current temperature and status.

5.3. Weekly Programmable Schedule

5.5. Child Lock Function
Activate the child lock to prevent accidental changes to settings by children. To activate/deactivate, press and hold the "Middle button" (Mode key) for 3 seconds.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Anti-scale Function
The TRV performs a routine descaling every Monday at 12:00 AM to protect the valve from calcification and ensure optimal performance.

6.2. Low Battery Alarm
When the low battery symbol appears on the display, the batteries need to be replaced immediately to ensure continuous operation.

6.3. Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

- Device not pairing: Ensure the ZigBee gateway is online and within range. Check if the TRV is in network setup mode (cycling animation). Verify Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz.
- No heating/cooling: Check the selected operating mode and set temperature. Ensure the valve is properly installed and not stuck.
- Inaccurate temperature readings: Ensure the TRV is not obstructed or exposed to direct heat sources (e.g., sunlight, other appliances).
- App control issues: Check internet connection for both your smartphone and the ZigBee gateway. Restart the app or the gateway if necessary.
- Voice control not working: Verify that the TRV is correctly linked to your smart assistant (Alexa, Google Home) and that commands are phrased clearly.
