5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ONIKUMA X92 Gaming Headset, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the earcups and headband. For synthetic leather earpads, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure they are completely dry before storage.
  • Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the headset.
  • Cable Care: Do not pull on the cables forcefully. Always grasp the plug when disconnecting. Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cables.
  • Avoid Liquids: Keep the headset away from water and other liquids. If it comes into contact with liquid, disconnect it immediately and allow it to dry completely before reuse.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your ONIKUMA X92 headset, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

6.1 No Sound or Low Volume

  • Check Connections: Ensure the 3.5mm audio jack is fully inserted into the correct audio output port on your device.
  • Volume Control: Verify that the headset's volume scroll wheel is turned up.
  • Device Settings: Check your computer's or console's sound settings to ensure the headset is selected as the default playback device and that the volume is not muted or too low.
  • Test on Another Device: Try connecting the headset to another device to determine if the issue is with the headset or the original device.

6.2 Microphone Not Working

  • Check Connections: Ensure the 3.5mm microphone jack is fully inserted into the correct microphone input port.
  • Microphone Position: Adjust the flexible microphone closer to your mouth.
  • Device Settings: Verify that the headset microphone is selected as the default recording device in your computer's or console's sound settings. Check that the microphone is not muted in software or system settings.
  • Application Settings: If using a specific application (e.g., a game or communication software), check its internal audio settings to ensure the correct microphone is selected and unmuted.

6.3 RGB Lighting Not Working

  • USB Connection: Ensure the USB connector is securely plugged into a powered USB port.
  • Power Source: Try a different USB port or a different device to rule out a faulty port.
