4. Product Overview

The device supports various functions, accessible via its intuitive menu system:

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your MP3 player. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the player's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.

5.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side) for a few seconds until the screen lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the power-off option appears on the screen, then confirm.

5.3 Inserting a Memory Card

The ZAQE X20 comes with 128GB of internal storage and supports expandable memory via a TF (microSD) card (64GB-128GB). Locate the memory card slot on the side of the device and gently insert the TF card until it clicks into place.

5.4 Bluetooth Pairing

The ZAQE X20 features advanced Bluetooth 5.3 for seamless wireless connection to headphones or speakers. Please note that the device cannot be paired with smartphones or tablets.

  • Navigate to the Bluetooth menu on your MP3 player.
  • Ensure your Bluetooth headphones or speaker are in pairing mode.
  • Select your device from the list of available devices on the MP3 player's screen to establish a connection.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Music Playback

From the main menu, select 'Music' to browse and play your audio files. The player supports multiple playback modes:

  • Sequential Play: Plays tracks in order.
  • Repeat All: Repeats the entire playlist.
  • Shuffle: Plays tracks in a random order.
  • Single Repetition: Repeats the current track.

To quickly return to the music interface from any other function, press the dedicated music button.

6.2 FM Radio

To use the FM radio function, you must plug in wired headphones. The wired headphones act as an antenna for stronger signal reception. Navigate to the 'FM Radio' option in the main menu, then scan for available stations.

6.3 Voice Recorder

The MP3 player includes a voice recording function. Select 'Voice Recorder' from the menu to start, pause, save, or playback recordings. Recordings are typically saved in WAV or MP3 format.

6.4 E-Book Reader

Access the 'E-Book' function to read text files. The compact size of the player makes it convenient for reading on the go.

6.5 Pedometer

Activate the 'Pedometer' function to track your steps during exercise. This feature is ideal for sports enthusiasts.

6.6 Useful Tools

The player includes several useful tools:

  • Alarm Clock: Set alarms for reminders.
  • Calendar: View the current date and schedule.
  • Stopwatch: Time your activities.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Avoid exposure to moisture or liquids.
  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures (hot or cold) and direct sunlight.
  • Do not drop or subject the device to strong impacts.
  • Store the device in a safe place when not in use.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Device Does Not Turn On

  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the player to a power source and try again.
  • If the device is unresponsive, try performing a soft reset (refer to the manual for specific reset instructions if available, or hold the power button for an extended period).

8.2 Cannot Connect to Bluetooth Device

  • Ensure both the MP3 player and the Bluetooth headphones/speaker are in pairing mode.
  • Make sure the Bluetooth device is within range.
  • Confirm that the MP3 player is not already connected to another Bluetooth device.
  • Remember, the MP3 player cannot pair with smartphones or tablets.

8.3 No Sound

  • Check the volume level on both the MP3 player and your connected headphones/speaker.
  • Ensure headphones are properly plugged in or Bluetooth is successfully connected.
  • Verify that the audio file is not corrupted or in an unsupported format.
  • Remember, the player does not have built-in speakers.

8.4 Files Not Displaying or Playing

  • Ensure the files are in supported formats (MP3, WAV, APE, FLAC for audio; AVI for video).
  • Check if the files are stored in the correct directory on the internal memory or TF card.
  • Verify that the TF card is properly inserted and not corrupted.

9. User Tips

  • For optimal FM radio reception, always use wired headphones as they double as an antenna.
  • If you encounter issues with file formats, consider using a converter tool on your computer to ensure compatibility with the player's supported formats.
  • Check the device's settings for language options if you require support for languages like Hebrew or others.
