2. Important Safety Instructions

Ventilation Options

Proper ventilation is crucial for the dryer's performance and safety. The dryer supports two types of exhaust air ventilation:

  1. Outdoor Ventilation: The exhaust hose directs moist air outside.
  2. Indoor Ventilation: The exhaust hose directs moist air into the room, requiring adequate room ventilation.

Wall Mounting

If wall-mounting, ensure the wall is strong enough to support the dryer's weight (Net weight: 15.5 kg). Use the provided wall mounting brackets and hardware. Ensure sufficient clearance around the dryer for air circulation and maintenance.

6. Operating Instructions

Loading the Dryer

  • Ensure the lint filter is clean before loading.
  • Do not overload the dryer. The rated capacity is 3 kg, with an actual usable capacity of up to 4.5 kg.
  • Close the transparent door securely. The door features a lock mechanism for safety.

Selecting a Drying Program

Turn the control knob to select one of the five available drying programs:

  • Kühlung (Cooling): Approximately 20 minutes. For cooling down clothes after drying or airing.
  • Anti-Falten (Anti-Wrinkle): 30-60 minutes. Helps reduce wrinkles in fabrics.
  • Normale Kleidung (Normal Clothes): 60-120 minutes. Standard drying for everyday garments.
  • Schwere Kleidung (Heavy Clothes): 120-180 minutes. For thicker or heavier items.
  • Kühlender Wind Pflege (Cool Wind Care): 0-80 minutes. Gentle drying with cool air.

Starting and Stopping

  • Once the program is selected, the dryer will begin operation.
  • To stop the dryer mid-cycle, turn the knob to the 'OFF' position or open the door.

Cleaning the Filters

The dryer features a double filter system: a lint filter and an air intake filter. Both should be cleaned regularly.

  • Air Intake Filter (Luftansaugfiltersieb): Located at the front, below the door. Periodically remove and clean to ensure proper airflow.
