5. Installation

The circuit breaker is designed for installation on a standard 35mm DIN rail. Ensure the main power supply is OFF before proceeding with installation.

5.1. Physical Installation

  1. Mount the device securely onto a 35mm DIN rail in your electrical panel.

6. Setup and Configuration (App)

To unlock the full smart features of your circuit breaker, you need to connect it to the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.

6.1. App Download and Account Creation

  1. Scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or search for "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" in Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Download and install the app.
  3. Open the app and create an account using your mobile number or email address.

6.2. Device Pairing

  1. Ensure your mobile phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (5 GHz networks are not supported for initial pairing).
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
  3. Open the Smart Life/Tuya Smart app. On the homepage, tap the "+" button in the upper right corner.
  4. Select "Add Device".
  5. On the circuit breaker, long press the "SET" button for 3 seconds.
  6. After releasing the "SET" button, press the "ON/OFF" button. The display should show "3 release" or a similar indication that the device is in pairing mode.
  7. In the app, confirm that the indicator is blinking rapidly (refer to the app's instructions for visual confirmation).
  8. The app will search for nearby devices. Once your circuit breaker is detected (usually as "Smart meter"), select it.
  9. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process, which may include entering your Wi-Fi password.

6.3. Initial Password

The initial password for device settings is 0000. It is recommended to change this password within the app for security purposes.
