2. Safety Precautions

4. Setup
Initial Power On
To turn on the device, press and hold the Power Button (3) for 3 seconds. To turn off, press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds again.
Note: This function is disabled when the player is connected to a PC or charging.
Screen Lock/Unlock
Short press the Power Button (3) while the device is on to lock or wake the screen.
Charging the Device
The Famue BF07 uses a built-in lithium polymer battery. It is recommended to fully charge the device before first use.
- Check Battery Level: If the battery level is critically low, charge it immediately. The system will enter a low-battery state and automatically shut down with a warning prompt.
- Charging via Power Adapter: Connect one end of the USB cable to a 5VDC/1A power adapter (that meets national standards and has passed CCC certification) and the other end into the player's Type-C port (9). Full charge typically takes 2–3 hours.
- Charging via Computer USB: Insert one end of the included USB cable into a computer's USB port and the other end into the player's Type-C port (9). The player can also function as a mobile storage device during charging. Charging time via a PC USB port may vary depending on the computer's USB current output capacity. For faster charging, it is recommended to power off the device while connected to a PC USB port.
Important Notes:
- Slight warming of the charger and player during charging is normal.
- Avoid using non-certified or incompatible chargers to prevent damage to the device.
- After charging is complete, remove the USB cable promptly to avoid extended connection to power.

5. Operating Instructions
Home Button (7)
- Return to Main Menu: Short press the Home button from any interface to return to the main menu.
- Night Light Function: Long press the Home button to toggle the night light on/off.
Volume Keys (1, 2)
- Adjust Volume: Short press to increase/decrease volume by one level. Long press to rapidly adjust volume.
Music Playback
Tap the music icon on the home screen to access the music menu. Options include:
- Currently Playing
- All Songs
- Artist
- Album
- Genre
- Favorites
- Update Playlist
Music Playback Interface:
- Now Playing: Tap to enter the current playback interface or switch to the previous playback screen.
- Search All Songs: Insert an external storage card to display the internal disk and card directory. Tap the search icon in the top-right corner and enter keywords to search songs by title.
- Classification: Sort songs by Artist, Album, or Genre.
- Add to Favorites: Tap the heart-shaped icon during playback to save the current song to Favorites 1-3.
- Update Playlist: Refresh the playlist from the disk.
- Playback Controls:
- Variable Speed Playback: Tap the "X" icon to adjust playback speed (-3 to +3).
- Playback Modes: Toggle between All Repeat, Random Play, Single Repeat, and Orderly Play.
- A-B Repeat: Tap the "A-B" icon to set a start point (A) and tap again for an end point (B). The system will loop the segment between A and B. Tap "B" again to exit repeat mode.
- Track Navigation: Short press up/down arrows to switch tracks. Long press to fast rewind/forward. Drag the progress bar to jump to specific time points.
- Play/Pause: Tap the play icon to pause or resume playback.
- Delete: Tap the menu icon in the top-right corner and select "Delete" to remove the currently playing song file.
- Equalizer: Tap the menu icon in the top-right corner to access the equalizer menu with 7 sound effect options: Off, Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Classical, and Electronic.
Dictionary & Learning Features
- English Dictionary:
- Word Search: Enter a word to view its definition. Tap the top-right corner to add it to the vocabulary book.
- Vocabulary Book: View added words.
- Word Learning: Learn words added to the vocabulary book.
- Chinese Dictionary:
- Character/Phrase/Idiom Search: Enter Chinese characters, words, or idioms to view their meanings.
E-Book Function
Tap the e-book icon to display all e-books on the disk (select the card directory first if an external storage card is inserted).
- Search E-Books: Tap the search icon in the top-right corner and enter keywords to quickly locate e-books.
E-Book Settings:
- Page Number Selection: Input a page number to jump directly to the selected page.
- Add Bookmark: Mark the current page as a bookmark.
- Delete Bookmark: Long-press a bookmark to delete it.
- Chapter Selection: Choose a chapter to read.
- Delete File: Remove the current e-book file.
- Auto-Flip Speed: Adjust the speed of automatic page flipping.
- Font Size: Select from 5 options: Small SimSun, Large SimSun, Small FangSong, Small YouYuan, and Large YouYuan.
- Voice Playback: Choose male or female voice for audio reading.
Settings
Tap the settings icon to navigate through the following options:
- Language: Set the interface language (default: Simplified Chinese).
- Power-Off Settings:
- Auto Power-Off: The device will shut down automatically if idle for 10 minutes (default).
- Timer Power-Off: Set a timer (max. 99 minutes) for automatic shutdown.
- Date & Time: Adjust time and date settings directly from the main interface.
- External Speaker: Toggle the speaker on/off.

Bluetooth
Tap the Bluetooth icon to manage the following options:
- Bluetooth Switch Control: Turn Bluetooth on or off.
- Search Devices: Search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
- Paired Devices: View paired Bluetooth devices.
- Bluetooth File Transfer: Open the File Transfer menu to display this device's Bluetooth name. Click "Connect Host" to search for devices (connection requires the same or similar product type). After successful connection, navigate to the file folder to select and transfer files.

File Browser:

- Short Press: Open the selected file.
- Long Press: Access the context menu with options:
- Copy to Card: Copy the current file to the TF card.
- Send File: Transfer files via Bluetooth or other methods.
- Delete: Remove the selected file.
Radio Interface:
- Short press the triangular icons on the left and right sides of the digital frequency band to adjust channels.
- Long press to automatically search for and stop at clear stations.

- Preset Radio Stations: Automatically saved after searching for stations.
- Save to Preset Radio Stations: Save the current station to preset radio stations.

Recording:
Enter the recording interface, click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner to access the recording settings menu, which includes:
- Recording Library:
- Short press a recording file to play it.
- Long press a recording file to display deletion options: Delete or Delete All.
- Storage: Choose to save recordings to internal storage or external storage (TF card).
- Recording File Format: Two options: MP3 or WAV.
- Recording Bitrate:
- MP3: 4 bitrate options: 32 kbps, 64 kbps, 128 kbps, 192 kbps.
- WAV: 5 bitrate options: 256 kbps, 512 kbps, 768 kbps, 1024 kbps, 1536 kbps.
Higher bitrates yield better audio quality but require more storage space. Default setting: WAV 512 kbps.
- Recording Controls:
- Start/Stop Recording: Click the circular icon in the center.
- Pause/Resume Recording: Click the play/pause icon in the bottom-right corner.
Calendar:
Enter the calendar interface to view system date information. Swipe up/down to switch months.
