  2. Placement:
    • Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in the area where dehumidification is needed.
    • Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around the unit to allow for proper air circulation. Do not place it against a wall or furniture.
    • Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in areas exposed to extreme temperatures.
    • The 360° wheels and built-in handle (Figure 4.3) allow for easy movement between rooms.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded AC 220-240V, 50Hz electrical outlet.
  4. Drainage Option: Choose your preferred water drainage method:
    • Manual Drainage (Water Tank): The unit will collect water in its internal 4.5L tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. You will need to manually empty the tank.
    • Continuous Drainage (Drain Pipe): For continuous operation without emptying the tank, attach the included 1-meter drain pipe to the continuous drainage outlet on the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, large bucket) to allow gravity to remove water. Make sure the connection is secure to prevent leaks.
