4. Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's power is disconnected before starting installation.

4.1 Physical Installation

  1. Remove your existing car radio unit.
  2. Mount the VENBES Android Car Radio into the double DIN slot using the provided metal frame.
  3. Ensure a secure fit.

4.2 Wiring Connections

Refer to the wiring diagrams below for proper connection of power, audio, video, and control signals.

Key Wiring Points:

  • Power: Connect B+ Battery to constant 12V, ACC to ignition switched 12V, and GND to vehicle ground.
  • Speakers: Connect FRONT L+/-, REAR L+/-, FRONT R+/-, REAR R+/- to your vehicle's speakers.
  • Steering Wheel Control (SWC): Connect Kye 1 and Kye 2 wires to your vehicle's SWC wires. Configuration is done via the unit's settings.
  • Reversing Camera: Connect the reversing video input and the Reversing Control wire to trigger the camera view when reverse gear is engaged.
  • Antenna: Connect the Radio antenna and GPS Antenna to their respective ports.
  • USB: Use the provided USB cables for external devices or media.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

Upon powering on, the unit will boot into the Android home screen. Navigate using the touchscreen interface. The main screen provides access to various applications and settings.

5.2 Google Play Market

Connect the unit to Wi-Fi to access the Google Play Market. You can download and install various applications safely, including navigation apps, music players, and more.

5.3 GPS Navigation

The unit supports both offline and online GPS navigation. Install your preferred navigation app from the Google Play Store. For offline maps, download map data when connected to Wi-Fi.

5.4 Bluetooth Connectivity

Pair your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0 for hands-free calling and high-quality audio streaming. Access your phone's contacts and call history directly from the car radio.

5.5 Mirror Link

Use the Mirror Link function to display your smartphone's screen on the car radio. This feature supports both iPhone and Android devices.

5.6 Split Screen Function

Multitask by using two applications simultaneously with the split-screen feature. For example, run navigation on one side and a music player on the other.

5.7 FM Radio

Tune into your favorite FM radio stations (87.5–108MHz). The radio provides music, traffic alerts, news, and other audio content.

5.8 EQ Sound Settings

Customize your audio experience with the built-in 32-band DSP equalizer. Adjust frequencies to achieve your desired sound profile.

5.9 Reversing Camera Support

If an optional reversing camera is connected, the display will automatically switch to the camera view when the vehicle is put into reverse gear, enhancing parking safety.

5.10 Steering Wheel Control

Connect the car radio to your vehicle's steering wheel controls to manage functions like volume, track skipping, and mode switching directly from your steering wheel. This requires configuration in the unit's settings.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Software Updates: Periodically check for software updates through the unit's settings or the manufacturer's website to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
  • Temperature: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, for extended periods.
  • Power: Ensure stable 12V DC power supply to prevent damage.

7. Troubleshooting
