1. Introduction

User Guide

Dear User: Thank you for using our product. For your safety and benefit, please carefully read this manual and all accompanying materials before using the product!

Disclaimer

  1. Please be sure to use the original power adapter. We assume no responsibility for any issues or malfunctions caused by the use of third-party adapters.
  2. Users may use third-party music, video, images, and software, but we are not responsible for any copyright issues or software malfunctions.
  3. If the product experiences a malfunction, we will strictly adhere to the warranty terms. However, we are not liable for any property damage or financial losses that may occur during use.
  4. The device comes with pre-installed software, which can be used after actual testing. However, removing or not removing such software in cases of compatibility or other issues will not affect the machine. Please note that this is not a product quality issue.
  5. We reserve the right to improve the product. In case of any changes in specifications or design, the actual product will prevail.
  6. Please do not disassemble the product yourself. We assume no liability for damages caused by external physical or chemical damage unrelated to the product's quality.

Important Safety Warning: Protect the mini PC from being exposed to water or moisture.

2. Setup

2.1 Quick Installation

Follow these steps to quickly set up your ACEMAGIC E3B Mini PC:

  1. Connect the Monitor: Connect your display to the Mini PC via an HDMI cable.
  2. Connect Power: Connect the power supply to the device.
  3. Connect Peripherals: Connect your keyboard and mouse (self-provided) via the USB interface.
  4. Connect to Internet: Connect to the internet via a network cable or Wi-Fi. Note: Wi-Fi needs to be set up after turning on the device.

2.2 VESA Bracket Installation

Some models may not support VESA mounts. Please refer to the actual product for compatibility.

To install the VESA bracket (if supported):

  1. Attach the VESA bracket to the back of your monitor using the provided screws.
  2. Slide the Mini PC onto the VESA bracket until it clicks into place.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 First-time Boot and Windows Setup

When you start your Mini PC for the first time, you will be guided through the Windows operating system configuration process.

  1. Start-up: Press the PC's power button. Wait a few minutes until the installation interface appears.
  2. Step 1: Select your preferred language/country (region).
  3. Step 2: Select the input method and click confirm.
  4. Step 3: Select the second input method, which can be "skipped".
  5. Step 4: Networking: After selecting Wi-Fi, enter the password to connect. Alternatively, connect via an Ethernet cable.
    • Note: Networking will automatically update the system, which can prolong the start-up time. Skipping network connections during initial setup is strongly recommended.
  6. Step 5: Accept the License Agreement.
  7. Step 6: Set your User Name and Password. Once the installation process is complete, the desktop will appear.

3.2 Connecting to Wi-Fi

To connect your Mini PC to a Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Wi-Fi icon from the taskbar.
  2. Click the Wi-Fi icon to turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. Select an access point from the list of available Wi-Fi connections.
  4. Select "Connect" to establish the network connection.

Note: You may be prompted to enter a security key to activate the Wi-Fi connection.

3.3 BIOS Settings

The BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) is the first software loaded when the Mini PC starts.

  • To enter BIOS: Press the "Del" or "ESC" key during startup.
  • Under normal circumstances, the default BIOS settings ensure optimum performance. Do not change default BIOS settings unless you have installed new system components that require further BIOS settings or updates.
  • Warning: Inappropriate BIOS settings may cause instability or startup failure. We strongly recommend changing BIOS settings only with the help of technical service personnel.

4. Maintenance and Precautions

4.1 General Precautions

  1. Be cautious when performing operations that may result in file damage or loss.
  2. During use, ensure the device is protected from viruses and try to use antivirus software. If the Mini PC will not be used for a long period, turn it off and disconnect the power supply.
  3. Avoid turning the device on and off frequently within short periods. Ensure a minimum interval of 10 seconds between reboots.
  4. Keep the device away from moisture and maintain a clean environment. If there is dust, use a dry, soft cloth to clean it.
  5. Avoid direct exposure to strong light and keep the device away from strong magnetic fields.
  6. Do not spill liquids such as water or food on the device. Do not pull data or power cables forcefully.

4.2 Environmental Conditions

  • Operating Environment: -10°C to 45°C, 30% to 85% RH
  • Storage Environment: -20°C to 60°C, 10% to 90% RH

5. Troubleshooting and FAQ

5.1 Common Issues and Solutions

  • Mini PC is unresponsive: If your Mini PC does not respond, press and hold the power button for at least 4-6 seconds until it turns off.
  • Slow startup after networking: If you connect to the internet during the initial Windows setup, the system may perform automatic updates, prolonging the startup time. It is strongly recommended to skip network connections during the first boot.
  • Wi-Fi connection issues: Ensure you have selected the correct access point and entered the security key accurately. If problems persist, try restarting the Mini PC and your Wi-Fi router.
  • System instability after changing BIOS settings: Incorrect BIOS settings can cause instability or startup failure. Only change BIOS settings with the assistance of technical service personnel.
