1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Hizpo Car Intelligent Screen. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and safety.

1.1. Compatibility

This unit is designed for Peugeot 3008 models manufactured between 2010 and 2017, specifically for vehicles equipped with automatic A/C systems. Please verify the shape and size of your car's center console before installation to ensure compatibility.

2. Setup and Installation

2.1. Package Contents

The standard package includes the following accessories. Please note that some items may be optional and depend on the specific product version purchased.

2.3. CanBus Type Settings

To ensure proper communication with your vehicle's systems, configure the CanBus settings as follows:

  1. Go to 'Factory' settings.
  2. Enter password: 8888.
  3. Select 'Car Model'.
  4. Choose 'Raise' -> 'Peugeot' -> '3008' -> '13-21 (remove)'.
  5. Confirm with 'OK'.

If your car model is special or not listed, contact after-sale service for assistance. Ensure internet connection before setting CanBus.

2.4. Cooling Fan

The S-series 8Core models include a small cooling fan. If the CPU temperature exceeds 50°C, the fan automatically activates. It will turn off when the temperature drops below 50°C. You can also manually control the fan.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. User Interface Overview

The intelligent screen features a user-friendly interface. S Series models offer Day Mode & Night Mode, and 12 color themes (Purple, Dark blue, Black, Golden, etc.).

3.2. Smart Features

3.2.1. AI Voice Control System

The AI Voice Control System allows hands-free operation for safer driving. Simply use command words to control the radio. This feature is optional and may require separate purchase.

3.2.2. Carplay / Android Auto

Enjoy seamless integration with your smartphone. Supports wireless Carplay, wired Android Auto, and wireless Android Auto (requires setting your phone's Wi-Fi hotspot AP Band to 5 GHz). Compatible with Siri (Carplay) and Google Assistant (Android Auto).

3.2.3. Bluetooth & Wi-Fi

Features Bluetooth 5.0 for stable and long-distance connections. Supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz) for reliable internet access. The main interface can display your connected phone's battery level.

3.2.4. Radio

Equipped with a professional radio chip (4745, TDA7708, or integrated IC depending on configuration) for stable reception, reduced noise, and high performance. Supports AM/FM/RDS.

3.2.5. GPS Navigation

Supports online and offline navigation using Google Maps, Navitel, Waze, and Herewego. Download maps for offline use. Features include lane guidance and voice prompts.

3.2.6. Split Screen & Picture-in-Picture (PIP)

Use two applications simultaneously with the split-screen function (e.g., Navigation + Music, ADAS Camera + Music). The Picture-in-Picture feature allows you to watch videos in a small, resizable window on top of other applications.

3.3. Advanced Features

3.3.1. Built-in DSP

The full S-series models utilize the BU32107EFV DSP chip for enhanced audio resolution, acoustic reproduction, connection stability, and bass filtering. This resolves issues with bass enhancement and filtering found in other DSPs.

3.3.2. 4G Network Connectivity

For 4G versions, insert a SIM card before turning on the device. The unit includes a 4G card slot and a 4G antenna.

3.3.3. Torque Pro (OBD2 & Car) Support

Connect a PJ-908 Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner Tool (not included, sold separately) to use this function. Monitor various car parameters like air velocity, fuel status, fuel pressure, coolant temperature, and read error codes.

3.3.4. DAB+ Box Support

Connect an optional DAB+ Box via USB to access Digital Audio Broadcasting programs. Control DAB+ functions directly from the unit's touch screen.

3.3.5. TPMS Function

With an optional external sensor/built-in sensor, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) displays real-time tire pressure and temperature. It warns you if tire temperature is high or pressure is low.

3.3.6. ADAS DVR Camera

Connect an optional HD 1080P ADAS USB DVR Camera (sold separately) to enable Lane Departure Warning Distance (LDWS) and Forward Collision Warning Distance (FCWS) monitoring. S series models can also support remote photo and monitoring.

3.3.7. Rear View System

Supports a backup camera (sold separately) up to 1920*1080 pixels. The system automatically switches to reverse mode when engaging reverse gear, displaying troublesome blind spots. You can adjust the reversing trajectory.

3.3.8. AV-OUT Support

Optional AV output interface or HDMI output interface via an external Video Out Box (sold separately).

3.3.9. Multiple USB Connections

S Series models support up to 3 USB connections simultaneously for flash drives, DVR, DAB+, or TPMS devices. External memory via USB port supports up to 2TB.

3.4. Steering Wheel Control

Easily change music tracks, adjust volume, and control other functions directly from your steering wheel for a safer driving experience.

3.5. Multimedia Playback

Enjoy an audiovisual feast with support for various digital media formats including MP3, MP4, WMA, and JPEG. Play music and videos from internal storage or connected USB devices.

4. Maintenance

4.1. General Care

  • Keep the screen clean using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Protect the screen from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.

4.2. Software Updates (OTA)

The device supports Over-The-Air (OTA) updates to ensure you have the latest features and improvements. Check for updates periodically through the system settings.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1. Installation Issues

  • Unit does not power on: Check all power cable connections. Ensure the car's fuse is intact.
  • No sound: Verify speaker wiring and DSP settings. Check if the volume is muted or too low.
  • Steering wheel controls not working: Ensure CanBus settings are correctly configured for your vehicle model. Perform a steering wheel control study in the settings.
  • Screen size/shape mismatch: If the unit does not fit your console, re-verify compatibility with your specific Peugeot 3008 model and year.

5.2. Connectivity Problems

  • Wi-Fi/4G not connecting: Ensure the 4G SIM card is correctly inserted (for 4G versions). Check Wi-Fi settings and ensure correct password.
