5. Applications
The MASTFUYI FY10 Thermal Imager is widely applied in various scenarios due to its precision and ease of use.
Common Use Cases:
- Underfloor Heating/Pipeline Inspection: Pinpoint problems and detect leaks in heating systems.
- Electrical System Inspection: Identify overheating components in electrical panels and circuits.
- Electronic Component Maintenance: Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in circuit boards.
- Automotive Maintenance: Inspect engine components for thermal anomalies.
- Building Infrastructure Safety Checks: Assess insulation, moisture, and structural integrity.
- Petrochemical Storage Tank Inspection: Monitor temperature distributions.
- Metallurgical Inspection: Analyze thermal properties in industrial processes.

Notes on Heated Floor Leak Detection:
Infrared thermal imaging visualizes surface temperature distribution. For subsurface pipe detection, pipes must be heated and pressurized. Leak indicators include amorphous heat signatures (blob-like diffusion) and temperature differentials (leak points appear bright white relative to surroundings).
6. Maintenance
Cleaning the Device
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device's body.
- For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Storage
- Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
Durability
The device features a high-quality double-injection-molded body made from high-grade materials, designed to withstand falls up to 1.5m in height. It is also IP54 rated for dust and water resistance.

7. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
- Inaccurate temperature readings: Check and adjust the emissivity setting for the material being measured. Ensure the lens is clean.
- Images not saving: Verify that the internal 4GB memory is not full. If full, transfer images to a computer and delete them from the device.
- Laser not working: Check if the laser function is enabled in the settings. Ensure the Photo/Trigger Key is long-pressed correctly.
