6. Maintenance

6.1 Battery Care

  • Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) as this can reduce its lifespan.
  • If storing the device for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to maintain its health.
  • Use only the provided charging cable or a compatible replacement.

6.2 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device.
  • Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, which could damage the device.

6.3 Firmware Updates

Periodically check the manufacturer's website or the device's web management interface for available firmware updates. Updates can improve performance, add features, and enhance security.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 No Internet Connection

  • Check SIM Card: Ensure the 4G SIM card is correctly inserted and activated.
  • Check Signal: Verify the signal strength indicator on the OLED display. If signal is weak or absent, move to an area with better reception.
  • Frequency Band Compatibility: Confirm that the router's supported frequency bands (4G LTE: B1/B3/B5/B40; 3G UMTS WCDMA: B1/B8) are compatible with your local operator's network.
  • Reboot Device: Power off the router, wait a few seconds, and then power it back on.

7.2 Slow Internet Speed

  • Signal Strength: A weak cellular signal will result in slower speeds.
  • Number of Users: If many devices are connected and actively using the internet, speeds may be reduced for all users.
  • Data Cap: Check if your SIM card plan has a data cap or throttling after a certain usage.

7.3 Device Not Powering On

  • Battery Charge: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source and check if the charging indicator appears.
  • Battery Installation: Verify the battery is correctly installed.

7.4 Forgetting Wi-Fi Password or Admin Login

If you forget your Wi-Fi password or the web interface login credentials after changing them, you may need to perform a factory reset. Refer to the physical user manual for specific reset instructions, or look for a small reset button on the device (often requiring a pin to press).
