Setup
1. Thermostat Placement
The thermostat display unit can be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall. For desk placement, attach the stand to the pedestal as shown below.

2. Power Supply Methods
The thermostat display unit supports three power supply methods:
- USB Charging: Connect a USB cable to the Type-C port.
- 220V AC Power: Direct AC power connection (requires professional installation).
- AAA Battery Power: Note that WiFi connectivity is not available when powered solely by batteries.

3. Wiring the Receiver Unit
WARNING: Electrical installation should be performed by a qualified professional. Ensure power is OFF before wiring.
The receiver unit connects to your heating system (gas boiler or electric actuator). Refer to the detailed wiring diagrams below for correct connections.

For Boiler Connection:
- Connect Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires to the receiver's power input.
- Connect the COM and NO (Normally Open) terminals of the receiver to your boiler's control input.
For Electric Actuator Connection:
- Connect Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires to the receiver's power input.
- For Normally Open (NO) actuators, connect to COM and NO terminals.
- For Normally Closed (NC) actuators, connect to COM and NC terminals.
4. Pairing the Thermostat and Receiver
The thermostat and receiver communicate wirelessly via RF. Ensure both units are powered on. Press the 'Pair Code' button on the receiver unit to initiate pairing. Follow the on-screen prompts on the thermostat display to complete the pairing process.
5. App Installation and Connection
Download the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to add your thermostat. This typically involves putting the thermostat into pairing mode (refer to the thermostat's display or manual for specific steps) and connecting it to your home WiFi network.

1. Thermostat Display and Buttons
