3. Smart Features

  • 2-Minute Timer & 30-Second QuadPacer: The toothbrush will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of brushing. The QuadPacer feature signals every 30 seconds to prompt you to move to the next quadrant of your mouth, ensuring a thorough and even clean.
  • Pressure Sensor: If you apply too much pressure, the toothbrush will instantly reduce vibrations within 0.08 seconds to protect your gums and enamel. This real-time pressure control helps prevent over-brushing.
  • 3-Second Soft Start: This feature prevents toothpaste splatter by gradually increasing the vibration intensity over 3 seconds when you first turn on the brush.
  • 14-Stage Power Ramp-Up Technology: For first-time users, the toothbrush gradually increases its power output over the first 14 uses (approximately 7 days) to help you comfortably adapt to electric brushing.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Toothbrush

  • After each use, rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water while the toothbrush is still on to remove any remaining toothpaste and debris.
  • Turn off the toothbrush and remove the brush head. Rinse the handle and the metal shaft under running water.
  • Wipe the handle with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the handle or charging base in water.

2. Brush Head Replacement

  • For optimal cleaning performance and hygiene, replace your brush head every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles become frayed or worn.
  • Compatible replacement brush heads are Philips C2 Clean brush heads.

Troubleshooting

  • Toothbrush not turning on: Ensure the toothbrush is fully charged. Place it on the charging base for several hours.
  • Weak vibration or reduced cleaning power: The battery may be low and requires charging. Alternatively, the brush head might be worn out and needs replacement.
  • Toothpaste splatter: Ensure you are using the 3-second soft start feature. Apply toothpaste before turning on the brush and place it in your mouth before activating.
  • Pressure sensor activating too often: You may be applying too much pressure. Guide the brush gently and let the sonic vibrations do the work.

User Tips

  • For optimal results, use a pea-sized amount of toothpaste.
  • Angle the brush at 45 degrees towards the gum line to effectively clean both tooth surfaces and gum line.
  • Allow the brush to do the work; simply guide it gently across each tooth surface without scrubbing.
  • Take advantage of the QuadPacer by dividing your mouth into four sections and spending 30 seconds on each for a balanced clean.
  • If you're new to electric toothbrushes, the 14-stage power ramp-up feature will help you gradually adjust to the sonic vibrations over the first week of use.
