4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to connect your GAMROMBO wireless controller to your Xbox console or PC:

  1. Prepare your Console/PC: Turn on your Xbox console or PC.
  2. Insert the USB Receiver: Plug the 2.4GHz Wireless Receiver into an available USB port on your Xbox console or PC.
  3. Activate Receiver Pairing Mode: Briefly press the small button located at the end of the USB receiver. The indicator light on the receiver will begin to flash quickly.
  4. Activate Controller Pairing Mode: Press the HOME button on the controller twice. The indicator light on the controller will also begin to flash quickly.
  5. Pairing Confirmation: The controller and receiver will automatically start pairing. Once successfully paired, both the controller's HOME button light and the receiver's indicator light will remain steadily lit.

Important: For successful pairing, ensure both the controller and the receiver are flashing quickly simultaneously during the pairing process.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Turbo Function

The controller features a Turbo function for rapid-fire actions. It supports 3 adjustable speeds: 5 shots/s, 12 shots/s, and 20 shots/s. Activate Turbo mode to quickly destroy enemies with a single click.

5.2. Vibration Feedback

Experience enhanced immersion with dual motors providing 3 adjustable vibration levels (Weak, Moderate, Strong). These vibrations offer physical feedback, making your gaming actions more realistic.

5.3. 6-Axis Gyro Sensor & Somatosensory Motion Control

The built-in 6-axis gyro sensor allows for precise direction and view control, especially useful in racing games. The latest sensor chip enables somatosensory motion control, making aiming actions smoother and faster for an immersive experience in compatible games.

5.4. Programmable Function Keys

Customize your gameplay by assigning functions to the back buttons (PR, PL). Up to 17 basic buttons can be programmed to these keys, optimizing your control and freeing your fingers for complex maneuvers.

5.5. Audio Jack and Volume Control

Plug any compatible headset into the standard 3.5mm audio jack for in-game audio and communication. The adjustable volume control allows you to easily manage audio levels: push left/right for volume up/down, and press and hold the middle to mute.

5.7. Ergonomic Design

6. Battery and Charging

  • Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the controller and to a USB power source (e.g., console, PC, or USB wall adapter).
  • The indicator light on the controller will show charging status and turn off or change color when fully charged (refer to specific light behavior in the quick start guide if available).

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the controller dry and away from moisture.
  • Avoid exposing the controller to extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1. Controller Not Connecting/Pairing

  • Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into your console or PC.
  • Verify that both the receiver and controller are in pairing mode (indicator lights flashing quickly).
  • Make sure the controller is charged.
  • Try re-pairing the controller by following the "Setup Instructions" (Section 4) carefully.
  • If connecting to PC, ensure your Windows operating system is up to date (Windows 7/8/10/Steam supported).
  • Try a different USB port on your console or PC.

8.2. Input Lag or Disconnections

  • Ensure the controller is within the 32-foot wireless range of the receiver.
  • Minimize obstructions between the controller and the receiver.
  • Avoid strong electromagnetic interference from other wireless devices.
  • Ensure the controller battery is sufficiently charged.

8.3. Vibration Not Working

  • Check in-game settings to ensure vibration feedback is enabled.
  • Ensure the controller battery is sufficiently charged.
