Troubleshooting (Q&A)
Q: Why does my monitor not turn on?
- A1: Check if the Type-C port of your device is a full-featured Type-C port, which supports both power and signal transmission. If not, use an HDMI to Mini HDMI cable for video signal and a USB-C to USB-C cable for external power.
- A2: Insufficient power supply. The minimum power requirement for the monitor is PD 30W. Especially when running at 4K 60Hz, power consumption is higher. It is recommended to use an external power supply; otherwise, the monitor may not work properly.
- A3: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please contact support.
Q: It says "no signal", what to do?
- A1: When connecting with a USB-C cable, ensure your device supports USB3.1/Thunderbolt 3. If not, use a Mini HDMI to HDMI cable for signal transmission.
- A2: Make sure to use the original cables and try another device.
- A3: If connected with an HDMI cable, ensure to supply extra power for the monitor.
Q: Abnormal conditions occurred (e.g., splash screen, spots, constant restarts).
- A1: This is generally caused by insufficient power supply. The monitor requires high power support. Use the original cable included to power the monitor.
- A2: If using a mobile power bank, confirm it provides 30W or more.
- A3: If none of the above solutions work, try another device. If it still fails, please contact support for a replacement.
Q: Why do black bars or a stretched screen appear when connecting to an external display?
- A: This indicates an aspect ratio mismatch. The output device's aspect ratio differs from the monitor's native 16:10 ratio. Adjust the display settings for optimal viewing.
Q: Why can't I achieve 4K 60Hz output?
- A1: Check your device's resolution settings.
- A2: Verify device & game/app compatibility: Ensure both your connected device and the game/app support 4K 60Hz.
- A3: Use a compatible cable: Ensure you are using a cable (HDMI 2.0 or higher) rated for 4K 60Hz bandwidth.
- A4: Confirm GPU capability: Check your device's GPU specifications; older graphics cards may not support 4K output.
Q: Why is my screen flickering?
- A: Check if the connection is loose. If the connection is secure, it may be due to insufficient power supply (minimum PD 30W). Connect the adapter and try again, or try changing the connecting cable and device. If it still doesn't work, contact the after-sales service center.
Q: Why does the monitor make a current sound or rustling noise?
- A: Confirm the source of the noise. If it's from the connection, re-plug the interface or replace the cable. If it's from the adapter or speaker, it may indicate a quality issue with the power adapter. Please contact support.
Q: Why does my monitor turn off when I turn up the brightness?
- A: This is caused by insufficient power supply. Increasing brightness increases power consumption. This can be resolved by connecting an external power supply.
User Tips
- Always ensure sufficient power supply, especially for 4K 60Hz operation, by using the provided PD adapter or a power bank of 30W or more.
- When connecting via USB-C, verify your device's Type-C port supports full-featured video and power transmission (USB 3.1/Thunderbolt 3).
- For optimal display, adjust your device's display settings to match the monitor's native 16:10 aspect ratio.
- Use the original cables provided to ensure compatibility and stable performance.
