2. Setup Instructions
2.1 Package Contents

2.2 SIM Card Preparation
- The router uses a Nano SIM card (12.3*8.8mm).
- Important: If your SIM card has a PIN code or lock, you must disable it using a mobile phone or by contacting your communication operator before inserting it into the router. The router will not function correctly with a PIN-locked SIM card.
- The router does not support eSIM, IoT SIM, or roaming SIM cards.
2.3 Basic Setup Steps

- Insert SIM Card: Insert the prepared Nano SIM card into the SIM card slot on the router before turning it on.
- Power On: Connect the router to a power source using the provided USB cable and power adapter, or ensure the internal battery (B828 PLUS) is charged.
- Access Web UI: Open a web browser on your phone or computer and navigate to the router's default IP address, typically
192.168.0.1. The factory router information, including the default username and password (admin/admin), is usually printed on a label on the back of the router. - Configure APN Settings: In the Web UI, find the APN settings section. Enter the APN profile provided by your SIM card carrier. If you do not know your APN profile, contact your carrier.
- Restart Router: After configuring the APN settings, restart the router for the changes to take effect.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Powering the Router
The router offers flexible power options:
- USB Power Plug: Connect the router to a standard USB power adapter.
- 3000mAh Battery: The B828 PLUS model includes a built-in 3000mAh battery for portable use.
- Power Bank: You can also power the router using an external power bank via the USB port.

3.2 Connecting Devices
The router supports multiple ways to share its internet connection:
- Wi-Fi Hotspot: Connect up to 16 wireless devices (phones, computers, laptops, game consoles, web cameras, etc.) to the router's Wi-Fi network. The default SSID and Wi-Fi key are usually found on the router's label.
- LAN/USB Connection: Share the network via the RJ45 LAN port or the USB Type-C cable for wired connections.

3.3 Web User Interface (Web UI)
The Web UI allows you to manage various router settings:

3.4 Network Mode Selection

- Options typically include: 5G NSA/SA, 5G SA only, 4G/3G, 4G only.

3.5 SMS Functionality
The router supports basic SMS functions, allowing you to read, write, and send messages via the Web UI.

4. Maintenance
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the manufacturer's website or the router's Web UI for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Physical Care: Keep the router in a dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or moisture. Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
- Security: Change the default Wi-Fi password and Web UI login credentials to strong, unique passwords to prevent unauthorized access.
- Reset Button: The router includes a reset button (refer to Figure 12 for location). This can be used to restore factory settings if needed.

5. Troubleshooting
- No Internet Connection:
- Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and not PIN-locked.
- Verify APN settings in the Web UI are correct for your carrier.
- Check signal strength in the Web UI. Try adjusting the router's position or selecting a different network mode (e.g., 4G only if 5G signal is weak).
- Restart the router.
- Wi-Fi Not Visible or Connectable:
- Ensure the Wi-Fi function is enabled in the Web UI.
- Check the Wi-Fi SSID and password.
- Try restarting the router.
- Slow Speeds:
- Check the number of connected devices; too many devices can reduce speed.
- Verify signal strength and network mode.
- Consider network congestion in your area.
- Web UI Inaccessible:
- Ensure your device is connected to the router's Wi-Fi or via LAN cable.
- Verify you are entering the correct IP address (192.168.0.1).
- Try clearing your browser's cache or using a different browser.
- Router Unresponsive:
- Perform a soft reset by powering off and on the router.
- If issues persist, perform a factory reset using the reset button (a paperclip may be needed). Note that a factory reset will erase all custom settings.
