4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to properly set up your inverter:

  1. Choose a Location: Place the inverter on a flat, stable surface in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Ensure there is sufficient space around the inverter for air circulation.
  2. Prepare the Battery: Ensure your battery is fully charged and matches the input voltage requirement of your inverter (12V, 24V, or 48V).
  3. Connect DC Cables:
    • Connect the RED cable to the positive (+) terminal of the inverter and the positive (+) terminal of the battery.
    • Connect the BLACK cable to the negative (-) terminal of the inverter and the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
    • Ensure all connections are tight and secure to prevent loose connections, which can cause overheating.
  4. Grounding: Connect a grounding wire from the inverter's grounding terminal to a proper earth ground.
  5. Initial Check: Before connecting any AC appliances, double-check all connections.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: After ensuring all connections are secure, press the ON/OFF switch on the front panel to turn on the inverter. The LED display will light up, showing the current operating status.
  2. Monitor Display: The digital display will show input DC voltage, output AC voltage, output power, and frequency. Monitor these values to ensure normal operation.
  3. Connect AC Appliances: Plug your AC appliances into the output sockets of the inverter. Ensure the total continuous power consumption of all connected appliances does not exceed the inverter's continuous (rated) power.
  4. Smart Fan Operation: The inverter features an intelligent temperature control system for its cooling fans. The fans will operate as follows:
    • Temperature < 45°C: Fans do not turn on (saves energy).
    • Temperature ≥ 45°C: Fans start to turn (intelligent temperature control system is activated).
    • Temperature > 45°C: The higher the temperature, the faster the fan speed (ensures normal operation and prevents overheating).
  5. Power Off: To turn off the inverter, first disconnect all AC appliances, then press the ON/OFF switch.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the exterior of the inverter with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings are free from dust and debris to maintain proper airflow.
  • Connections: Periodically check all DC and AC connections to ensure they are tight and free from corrosion.
  • Storage: If storing the inverter for an extended period, ensure it is clean, dry, and stored in a cool, well-ventilated place. Disconnect it from all power sources.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your inverter, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No power output / Inverter not turning on
  • Loose DC connections
  • Battery voltage too low or too high
  • Inverter switch is OFF
  • Internal fuse blown
  • Check and tighten all DC cables.
  • Check battery voltage; recharge or replace if necessary.
  • Ensure the inverter switch is in the ON position.
  • Contact customer support for assistance.
Low voltage alarm / Inverter shuts down
  • Battery voltage below threshold
  • Excessive load on inverter
  • Recharge the battery.
  • Reduce the number or power of connected appliances.
Overload protection / Inverter shuts down
  • Total power of connected appliances exceeds continuous rating
  • High surge current from an appliance
  • Disconnect some appliances to reduce the load.
  • Restart the inverter.
  • Ensure appliance starting (peak) power is within inverter's peak power rating.
Overheat protection / Inverter shuts down
  • Poor ventilation
  • Ambient temperature too high
  • Overloaded for extended period
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the inverter.
  • Move the inverter to a cooler environment.
  • Reduce the load on the inverter.
  • Allow the inverter to cool down before restarting.

8. User Tips

  • Voltage Compatibility: An inverter designed for 24V input cannot be used with a 12V battery, and vice-versa. Always ensure your battery voltage matches the inverter's specified input voltage.
  • Car Battery Use: This inverter can be used with a car battery, provided the car battery's voltage (typically 12V or 24V for larger vehicles) matches the inverter's input voltage. Ensure the car's engine is running when using high-power appliances to prevent draining the car battery.
  • Idle Power Consumption: Even when no load is connected, the inverter consumes a small amount of power (idle consumption). For prolonged periods of non-use, it is advisable to turn off the inverter to conserve battery power.
  • Appliance Compatibility: Pure sine wave inverters are highly compatible. They can power sensitive electronics like laptops, medical equipment, and power tools without issues.
