4. Product Overview
The HTC NE38 headphones feature an open-wear design for comfortable, all-day use. They are ultra-lightweight, with each earbud weighing approximately 4.6g. 5. Setup and Pairing
5.1. App Download and Initial Connection
To utilize the AI translation and other smart functions, you need to download the "SayMi" APP.
- Download the APP: Scan the QR code below to download the SayMi APP.
- Take out the earphones: Remove the earphones from the charging case to connect to your mobile phone.
- Login in the APP: Open the SayMi APP and log in.
- Enter the APP to connect headphone: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your headphones.

Note: The SayMi software is free to use for a lifetime and does not charge any fees.
5.2. Wireless Pairing Mode
- First-time Pairing: When there is no prior pairing record, the left and right earphones will automatically pair with each other upon being turned on. After successful pairing, you will hear two beeps.
- Subsequent Pairing: If the earphones have existing pairing records, they will automatically connect to your device when turned on, and you will hear a "beep" prompt.
5.3. Clear Bluetooth Pairing History / Reset Earphones
If the earphones fail to pair or reconnect to each other, you may need to clear the Bluetooth pairing history or reset them.
- Clear History: To clear all connected devices, tap both the left and right earphones 5 times simultaneously.
- Reset: If pairing or reconnection issues persist, reset the earphones by tapping both earphones five times simultaneously. Resetting clears the Bluetooth pairing history.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Basic Controls
The headphones feature multi-function touch controls on each earbud.

6.2. Indicator Light Description
The Bluetooth LED and Display light provide status information:
- Headset On: White light flashes.
- Headset Off: Red light stays on for 2 seconds, then turns off.
- Pairing Status: White light flashes.
- Connection Successful: No light.
- Headphone Charging: Red light stays on. When fully charged, the red light goes off.
- Charging Case Charging: The charging case display screen shows the battery level. When fully charged, it shows 100%. Note: The display turns off after about 30 seconds of inactivity. Sliding can re-enter the display screen.

The HTC NE38 headphones offer advanced AI real-time two-way translation through the SayMi APP.

- Lightning-fast Translation: The core two-way simultaneous interpretation technology allows users to communicate face-to-face with foreign friends, speaking in their native language and hearing the spoken translation instantly through their headset.

7. Charging
7.1. Charging the Earbuds
Place the earbuds into the charging case. The red indicator light on the earbuds will illuminate, indicating they are charging. Once fully charged, the red light will turn off.
7.2. Charging the Charging Case
Connect the charging case to a power source using the provided Type-C charging cable. The charging case's display screen will show the current battery level. It will indicate 100% when fully charged. The display will automatically turn off after approximately 30 seconds of inactivity to save power.
8. Maintenance
- Keep the headphones and charging case clean and dry.
- Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Handle the flexible ear hooks with care to prevent damage.
