Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Screen

Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-cleaning solution specifically designed for electronic displays. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or direct spraying onto the screen.

2. General Care

  • Keep the monitor away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture.
  • Avoid placing heavy objects on the monitor.
  • When transporting, use appropriate protective packaging to prevent damage.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the monitor to prevent overheating.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Poor signal or screen flickering.

Solution:

  • Ensure you are using the power adapter that came with the monitor. Insufficient voltage from other adapters can cause signal issues.
  • If flickering persists, try swapping the HDMI cable with another one to test.
Problem: No display when connected via Type-C.

Solution:

  • Verify that the Type-C port on your PC/Laptop whether it supports audio and video signal transmission (Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 with DisplayPort Alternate Mode).
  • If your device's Type-C port does not support video output, you will need a "Type-C to HDMI" adapter for signal transmission.
Problem: "No Signal" or "Power Saving Mode" message appears.

Solution:

  • Try switching the Type-C cable head to the other side and reconnecting it to the monitor.
  • Ensure the monitor is receiving adequate power.
Important Notes:
  • The monitor turns on in a default power save mode. Note that there is no save function in sleep mode; you need to close it manually if desired.
  • This 23.8" portable monitor does not have a built-in battery and is not touchscreen compatible. It requires an external power source and operates via physical input/display only.

User Tips

  • Check Device Compatibility: Before purchasing or connecting, always confirm that your source device's Type-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode or Thunderbolt 3) if you intend to use a single USB-C cable for both power and display.
  • Optimal Power: For best performance and to avoid flickering, always use the provided power adapter, especially when connecting via HDMI or if your USB-C source cannot deliver sufficient power.
  • Cable Management: Utilize the VESA mount option for a cleaner desktop setup and improved ergonomics, especially in multi-monitor configurations.
  • Adjust OSD Settings: Take time to explore the OSD menu to fine-tune brightness, contrast, and color settings to match your preferences and lighting conditions.
