7. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Check all power connections, ensuring the waterproof power cable is correctly installed and receiving power. Verify the ACC line connection using a multimeter as described in the wiring method.
  • No display/blank screen: Ensure the device is powered on. If the screen is black, check the light sensor functionality (it adjusts brightness). If still unresponsive, try a soft reset using the RESET button.
  • CarPlay/Android Auto not connecting: Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on both your phone and the MT92C. Verify the correct device is selected for pairing. Restart both devices and try again.
  • Cameras not recording/displaying: Check camera cable connections to the main unit. Ensure the SD card is properly inserted and formatted. If the card is full, loop recording should manage space, but manual formatting might be needed.
  • TPMS not showing data: Ensure TPMS sensors are correctly installed and tightened. Check for any air leaks. The sensors might need to be re-paired if they were removed or replaced.
  • Wired controller unresponsive: Check the wired controller's connection to the main unit. Ensure no cables are pinched or damaged.
  • App connection issues (KYCAM2): Ensure the MT92C's WiFi is active and your phone is connected to its WiFi network. Verify the app is updated to the latest version.
