For cars with CCC systems, the metal iDrive knob may experience some control errors when rotating it in the Android menu. However, you can control the Android menu correctly by touching the screen. If this is a concern, consider a Qualcomm series unit which offers full compatibility. Cars with CIC NBT EVO systems can control all menus normally.
