5. Installation

5.1 Headset & Main Unit Installation

The V4 Plus offers two methods for mounting the main unit to your helmet: using a clip or a double-sided tape base. Choose the method that best suits your helmet and preference.

Clip 1 Installation Steps:

1. Attach the clip to the side of your helmet.
2. Slide the intercom main unit onto the clip until it locks into place.
3. Insert the headset and microphone into the helmet's interior.
4. Connect the headset cable to the main unit.

Clip 2 Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Clip 2 base.
2. Secure the Clip 2 base to the helmet.
3. Slide the intercom main unit onto the Clip 2 base.
4. Route the microphone and speakers inside the helmet and connect to the main unit.

5.2 Optional Remote Control Installation

The EJEAS EUC Universal Remote Control can be mounted on your motorcycle handlebar for convenient operation.

To pair the remote control with your V4 Plus intercom, refer to the specific instructions provided with the EUC Remote Control, as the pairing process may vary. Generally, it involves putting both devices into a pairing mode and confirming the connection.

6. Operation

6.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the indicator light turns on.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the indicator light turns off.

6.2 Bluetooth Pairing (with Mobile Phone)

1. Ensure the V4 Plus is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Power button until the indicator light flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
4. Select "EJEAS V4 Plus" from the list.
5. Once paired, the indicator light will change to a slow flash or solid blue.

6.3 Intercom Pairing (Group Intercom)

The V4 Plus supports group intercom for up to 4 riders.

1. Ensure all V4 Plus units are powered on and not connected to any other devices.
2. Initiate pairing mode on the first two units (e.g., Rider A and Rider B) by pressing and holding their respective Intercom buttons until they enter pairing mode.
3. Once paired, repeat the process for additional units (Rider C, Rider D) by pairing them with an already connected unit.

6.4 Music Playback & FM Radio

• Music: After pairing with your phone, play music through your phone's media player. Use the V4 Plus buttons (or remote) to control volume, skip tracks, etc.
• FM Radio: Press the FM button to activate the built-in FM radio. Use the volume/track buttons to scan for stations. The FM range is 76MHz ~ 108MHz.

6.5 Phone Calls & Voice Assistant

• Answering Calls: The V4 Plus can automatically answer incoming calls after a few rings. You can also manually answer/end calls using the phone button on the unit.
• Voice Assistant: The device supports your mobile phone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant). Activate it via a dedicated button press (refer to the full user manual for specifics).

7. Charging

To charge your EJEAS V4 Plus intercom:

• Connect the provided Type-C USB charging cable to the intercom's 3.5mm round hole charging interface.

• A red indicator light typically signifies charging, and it will turn off or change color when fully charged.
• Charging time is approximately 2 hours.
