1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the VARUN Plorer Adult E-bike. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your electric bicycle. 4. Package Contents

Upon unpacking, please ensure all the following items are present:

• 48V 13Ah Lithium-ion Battery (pre-installed or separate)

5. Assembly and Setup

Your VARUN Plorer E-bike may require some minor assembly. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Unpacking

   Carefully remove the e-bike and all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.

2. Handlebar Installation

   Attach the handlebar to the stem, ensuring it is centered and tightened securely. Adjust the angle for comfortable riding.

3. Pedal Installation

   Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread the pedals into the crank arms by hand, then tighten firmly with a wrench. Note that the left pedal has a reverse thread.

4. Seat Post Adjustment

   Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the height to a comfortable riding position. Ensure the quick-release lever or bolt is securely tightened.

5. Battery Installation and Charging

   If the battery is not pre-installed, slide it into its compartment until it clicks into place. Before your first ride, fully charge the battery using the provided charger. Connect the charger to the battery port and then to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for full).

6. Tire Inflation

   Inflate the tires to the recommended pressure indicated on the tire sidewall. Use the included pump or a suitable bicycle pump.

7. Brake Check

   Ensure both front and rear brakes are functioning correctly. Squeeze the levers to check for firm engagement and proper stopping power.

1. Power On/Off

   Press and hold the power button on the handlebar display to turn the e-bike on or off. The LCD display will illuminate, showing real-time cycling data such as speed, PAS level, and distance.

2. Pedal Assist System (PAS)

   The VARUN Plorer features a Pedal Assist System. Use the control buttons on the handlebar to select your desired assist level (e.g., PAS 1-5). Higher levels provide more motor assistance. The motor will engage when you start pedaling.

3. Throttle Operation (if applicable)

   Some models may include a throttle for instant power without pedaling. Gently twist the throttle to engage the motor. Use with caution, especially in crowded areas.

4. Gear Shifting

   Your e-bike is equipped with a 7-speed gear system. Use the 7-speed gear controller on the handlebar to shift gears, allowing you to adapt to different terrains and inclines for a seamless cycling experience.

5. Lighting System

   The e-bike features a 5-in-1 lighting system. Use the control button to activate the headlight/DRL. The brake light activates automatically when braking. Use the turn signal switch for left and right indications.

6. Braking

   Apply both front and rear brakes smoothly and evenly to slow down or stop. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially at high speeds.

Regular maintenance is crucial for the safety and performance of your e-bike.

• Battery Care

  Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its health. Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.

• Tire Maintenance

  Check tire pressure before each ride. Inspect tires for wear, punctures, or damage. The 4.0" fat tires are designed for all-terrain use.

• Brake System

  Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and replace them when necessary. Ensure brake cables are properly tensioned and lubricated.

• Chain and Gears

  Keep the chain clean and lubricated. Check for proper gear shifting and adjust if needed. The rust-proof chain requires less frequent maintenance.

• Frame and Components

  Periodically check all bolts and fasteners for tightness. Clean the frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.

• Suspension System

  Inspect the full suspension shock system for any signs of damage or leaks. This system effectively absorbs 85% of road bumps, providing a comfortable ride.
