8. Maintenance

The MT53 Remote Meter requires minimal maintenance. Follow these guidelines to ensure its longevity:

  • Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Avoid exposing the meter to direct sunlight for prolonged periods or extreme temperatures.
  • Periodically check the RJ45 cable connection to ensure it is secure.
  • Do not attempt to open or repair the device yourself, as this will void the warranty.

  • Fault alarms: The MT53 displays real-time fault alarms from the connected controller. Refer to your solar controller's manual for specific alarm codes and troubleshooting steps.
  • Buttons unresponsive: Disconnect and reconnect the RJ45 cable to reset the meter. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
