Before installation, it is crucial to verify the compatibility of the system with your vehicle. Please carefully check your car's year, model, and central control diagram. If you are unsure, remove the original monitor and check the LVDS connection type.

4.2 Audio Connection
The method for transmitting audio to your car's speakers depends on your vehicle's NTG system version:
- NTG 4.0 and NTG 4.5: Audio is transmitted via AUX or AMI.
- NTG 5.0: Audio is transmitted via USB.
Important Note:
If your car does not have AUX or AMI, you may need to use an FM transmitter to produce audio. However, the sound quality will not be as good as direct AUX, AMI, or USB connections. Please be aware of this before proceeding with installation.

4.3 4G SIM Card Installation (Optional)
The unit features a built-in 4G module for cellular data connectivity. You can insert an optional 4G SIM card to stay connected without relying on your phone's hotspot.

5.1 Dual System Switching
Your MEKEDE system allows for free switching between the original car system and the Android 14 system. This ensures you can access all original car features while also enjoying the advanced functionalities of Android 14.

- Ensure the volume levels on both the unit and your car's original system are not muted or set too low.
- If using an FM transmitter (due to lack of AUX/AMI), ensure it is properly configured and tuned to a clear frequency.
- System Not Responding / Freezing:
- Perform a soft reset by pressing and holding the power button until the unit restarts.
- If the issue persists, disconnect the power cable from the unit for a few minutes, then reconnect.
- Connectivity Issues (Wi-Fi/4G):
- Check Wi-Fi settings and ensure you are connected to the correct network with the right password.

- Main Unit: 12 months Manufacturer's limited Warranty for defective items (excluding items damaged and/or misused after receipt).
- Accessories: Accessories come with a 3-month warranty.
Defective items MUST be reported and returned within the warranty period (and in the original packaging if possible). You must provide details of the defect and your order number. Items with an expired warranty will not be repaired or replaced.
