4.1. Installation Precautions

  1. Test Rear-View Camera: If applicable, test the normal operation of the rear-view camera first before installation.
  2. Turn Off Engine: Ensure the car engine is turned off before proceeding with installation.
  3. Insert TF Card: Insert a high-speed TF card (Class 10 or above, 4 GB to 256 GB capacity) into the dash cam's card slot. Refer to specifications for details.
  4. Fix Dash Cam: Fix the dash cam on the car's front windshield using the provided bracket.
  5. Connect Power: Insert the car charger into the car's cigarette lighter socket.

Note: When routing the cable, it can be laid along the edge of the car door frame and under the car carpet for a neat installation.

  6. Install Rear Camera (Optional): Install the rear camera at the rear of the vehicle. Pay attention to the up and down direction during installation. The cable can be laid along the top edge of the vehicle.

Note: There are two installation methods for the rear camera:

    • Attach it to the top of the car's rear glass (DIY installation). This method does not support reverse viewing function; only real-time video recording of the rear is available.
    • Ask professional installers to install it above the license plate frame. The camera needs to be connected to the reverse light power supply to enable the reverse viewing function.
  7. Adjust Lens Position: Adjust the position of the lens to achieve the best shooting perspective.
  8. Start Engine: Start the engine and check if the device is working normally.

5. Operation

5.1. Basic Recording

Once powered on, the dash cam will automatically begin recording. Use the Power Button to start/stop recording manually if needed.

5.2. Loop Recording

The device supports loop recording, automatically overwriting the oldest unlocked video files when the memory card is full. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

5.3. G-Sensor (Gravity Sensor)

The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden movements or collisions. In the event of an impact, it automatically locks the current video segment to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording, ensuring critical footage is preserved.

5.4. Super Night Vision

The dash cam features Super Night Vision with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) on the front camera and HDR (High Dynamic Range) on the rear camera, a 6-Glass Lens, and F/1.8 Aperture to provide clear video recordings even in low-light conditions.

5.5. Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) & Blind Spot Detection (BSD)

The dash cam may include ADAS features such as Front Vehicle Movement, Pedestrian Collision Warning, Headway Monitoring, and Lane Departure Alerts. Blind Spot Detection (BSD) provides real-time voice alerts to help avoid accidents by detecting surroundings.

7. 24-Hour Parking Monitoring (Optional)

For 24-hour parking monitoring, a dedicated "Buck Line" accessory is required to replace the standard car charger. The Buck Line draws power directly from the car battery or ACC, allowing the DVR to record even when the car is off.

Note: Due to varying car battery and ACC interfaces, professional installation of the Buck Line is recommended.

10. Troubleshooting

Most problems are related to the memory card, and a small number are related to the power cable.

ProblemSolution
The device shows the prompt "File Error"Go to Settings Menu -> Restore Factory Settings and format the memory card. This problem is usually related to the TF card.
Horizontal stripe interference appears on the screenPlease select the correct power supply frequency of 50HZ (PAL).
How to correctly enable the 24-hour parking monitoring functionDo not enable it during normal driving, as it may easily cause automatic shutdown or crash. It only needs to be enabled after parking. Please configure a step-down cable (Buck Line) or a mobile power supply.
The image captured at night is not clear enoughThe dash cam relies on strong external light sources (such as street lights and car lights) for shooting, which is common in the industry.
The device always reverts to the default date and timeCharge the device fully when it is turned off. You can use a car charger or a mobile power supply to recharge it.
What causes missing seconds in video filesTurn off motion detection recording or turn on the loop recording function. For self-prepared memory cards, ensure you use genuine Class 10 high-speed cards.
Why does the device shut down automatically suddenly during recordingTurn off the parking monitoring function first. Automatic shutdown may also occur if the temperature of the use environment exceeds 158°F (70°C).

11. User Tips

  • Memory Card Quality: Always use a high-quality, genuine Class 10 (or higher) TF card to prevent "File Error" messages and ensure reliable recording. Many issues stem from incompatible or low-quality memory cards.
  • Language Settings: The dash cam supports multiple languages, including English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Arabic, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Hebrew, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese. If your device's menu is not in your preferred language, navigate to the 'Language' setting in the system menu to change it.
  • Parking Monitor Activation: Remember to only enable the 24-hour parking monitoring function when the vehicle is parked. Activating it during driving can lead to unexpected shutdowns or crashes.
  • GPS Player: For detailed GPS track playback, download and install the "Hit GPS Player" on your computer from the provided link in the GPS Tracking section.
