6. Operating Instructions

The OVI 8900 system offers a range of features for enhanced car control:

6.1 Passive Keyless Entry (PKE)

The PKE feature automatically locks and unlocks your car as you approach or leave it, provided you have the remote control with you.

  • Automatic Unlock: The vehicle will automatically unlock when you approach it with the remote control.
  • Automatic Lock: The vehicle will automatically lock when you leave it with the remote control.

6.2 Remote Engine Start/Stop

6.5 Remote Trunk Release

Continue to press the trunk release button on your remote control twice to open the trunk.
