1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the SKMEI 2166 Digital Sport Watch. This watch is designed for active individuals, featuring a durable construction and multiple functions including time, date, alarm, chronograph, countdown, pedometer, and a decorative compass. Please read this manual carefully to understand the full capabilities of your new watch and ensure proper use and maintenance.
2. Product Overview
The SKMEI 2166 watch features a clear digital display and four control buttons located on the sides of the watch case.

Button Functions:
- LIGHT (Top Left): Activates the EL backlight for illumination.
- MODE (Bottom Left): Cycles through different modes (Time, Stopwatch, Alarm, Countdown, Pedometer, Compass, Setup).
- START/STOP (Top Right): Starts and stops functions like the chronograph or pedometer. Used to adjust values during setup.
- RESET/ADJUST (Bottom Right): Resets functions or selects items during setup.

3. Setup
3.1 Initial Power On
Your watch comes with a pre-installed battery (CR2430). It should be ready for use upon arrival. If the display is blank, the battery may need replacement (refer to Section 5.3).
3.2 Setting Time and Date
- From the Time Display mode, press the MODE button repeatedly until you reach the 'SETUP' screen (as seen in the product video).
- Use the RESET/ADJUST button to select the item you wish to set (e.g., seconds, hour, minute, year, month, day). The selected item will typically flash.
- Use the START/STOP button to increase the value of the flashing item. Hold it down for faster adjustment.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all desired settings (seconds, hour, minute, 12/24 hour format, year, month, day).
- Once all settings are complete, press the MODE button to exit the setup mode and return to the Time Display.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Time Display Mode
This is the default mode, displaying the current time (hour, minute, second), day of the week, and date (month, day).
4.2 EL Backlight
Press the LIGHT button (Top Left) to illuminate the display for a few seconds in low-light conditions.
4.3 Alarm Function
- Press the MODE button until you reach the Alarm mode (indicated by 'AL' or a bell icon).
- Press RESET/ADJUST to select the hour or minute to set.
- Use START/STOP to adjust the flashing hour or minute.
- Press MODE to confirm and exit.
- To activate/deactivate the alarm, typically press START/STOP while in Alarm mode. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
4.4 Chronograph (Stopwatch)
- Press the MODE button until you reach the Stopwatch mode (indicated by 'STW' or 'CHRONO').
- Press START/STOP to begin timing.
- Press START/STOP again to pause timing.
- Press RESET/ADJUST to reset the stopwatch to zero.
4.5 Countdown Timer
- Press the MODE button until you reach the Countdown mode (indicated by 'CD' or 'COUNT DOWN').
- Press RESET/ADJUST to select the hour, minute, or second to set.
- Use START/STOP to adjust the flashing value.
- Press MODE to confirm the set time.
- Press START/STOP to begin the countdown. An alarm will sound when the countdown reaches zero.
4.6 Pedometer Function
The watch features a 3D pedometer for tracking activity.

- Press the MODE button until you reach the Pedometer mode (indicated by a foot icon or 'PEDOMETER').
- The display will show your steps, calories burned, and distance.
- To reset the pedometer data, typically press and hold RESET/ADJUST while in Pedometer mode.
4.7 Compass (Decorative Use)
The watch includes a compass graphic on the display and case. Please note that this compass is for decorative purposes only and does not provide functional navigation.

4.8 12/24 Hour Format
This setting is usually adjusted within the Time Setup mode (refer to Section 3.2). Toggle between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats using the START/STOP button when the hour setting is selected.
4.9 Dual Time (2 Time)
The watch supports a dual time function. Press the MODE button to cycle through modes until you find the '2 TIME' display. You can set a second time zone independently using the RESET/ADJUST and START/STOP buttons, similar to setting the main time.
4.10 Metronome
If your watch includes a metronome function, it can typically be accessed by cycling through the modes with the MODE button. Follow on-screen prompts or use the START/STOP and RESET/ADJUST buttons to set the tempo and start/stop the metronome.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Water Resistance
The SKMEI 2166 watch is rated for 3ATM (30 meters) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use, such as splashes, rain, or brief immersion in water. It is NOT suitable for swimming, diving, or showering with hot water, as steam and temperature changes can compromise the seals.

5.2 Cleaning
To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the case, strap, or display.
5.3 Battery Replacement
The watch uses a CR2430 battery. When the display becomes dim or functions stop working, it may be time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is properly maintained.

6. Troubleshooting
- Display is blank: The battery may be depleted. Replace the battery (CR2430).
- Buttons not responding: Try pressing all buttons firmly. If unresponsive, the watch might be in a locked mode or require a battery replacement.
- Time is incorrect: Re-enter the time setting mode and adjust the time and date as described in Section 3.2.
- Water inside the watch: Immediately stop using the watch and seek professional repair. Water damage is typically not covered under warranty.
