4.1 Battery Care
- Always use the provided USB cable for charging.
- Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- If the drone will not be used for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% before storing.
4.2 Propeller Replacement
If a propeller is damaged, replace it with a spare from the package. Ensure the correct propeller (A or B) is installed on the corresponding motor as indicated in the full user manual.
4.3 Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone and remote control. Avoid using liquids or harsh chemicals.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your YL05 Smart Drone, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Drone does not respond: Ensure both the drone and remote control are powered on and properly paired. Check battery levels.
- Unstable flight/Drifting: Perform a calibration as described in the full user manual. Ensure propellers are not damaged and are installed correctly. Fly in an environment with minimal wind.
- No image transmission: For Entry-level remote control, ensure your smartphone is correctly connected to the drone's Wi-Fi and the app is running. Check camera connection.
- Short flight time: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Flight time can be affected by aggressive flying, wind conditions, and temperature.
- Drone crashes easily: Ensure you are flying in an open area free from obstacles. Practice at low speeds and use the full protection design to minimize damage.
