4. Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure your vehicle's power is disconnected to prevent electrical damage. Professional installation is recommended.

4.1 Mounting the Unit

  1. Carefully remove your existing car stereo from the dashboard.
  2. Attach the provided mounting brackets to the sides of the Podofo car player using the included screws.
  3. Slide the unit into the dashboard opening. Ensure a secure fit.

4.2 Wiring Connections

5.2 Android System

5.3 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

5.4 Mirror Link

Mirror your smartphone's screen onto the car player's display wirelessly. This allows you to use your phone's apps, music, and videos directly on the unit.

  • Airplay (iPhone): Supports one-way projection.

5.5 GPS Navigation

5.7 Bluetooth

5.11 Steering Wheel Control

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Screen

To clean the touch screen, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the screen.

6.2 General Care

  • Keep the unit away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
