4. Setup Guide
4.1. Mounting the Dash Cam
- Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the dash cam.
- Attach the electrostatic sticker to the windshield first, then attach the suction cup bracket with GPS to the electrostatic sticker. This allows for easier removal and repositioning without leaving residue.
- Ensure the dash cam has a clear view of the road ahead and the cabin.

4.2. Connecting Power
- Connect the power charger cable to the dash cam's power input.
- Plug the other end of the power charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
- Route the cable neatly along the windshield and dashboard to avoid obstructing your view or interfering with driving.
4.3. Installing Rear Camera (Optional)
- Connect the rear camera cable to the AV-In port on the main dash cam unit.
- Route the rear camera cable from the front unit to the rear of your vehicle. This typically involves tucking the cable under the headliner, along the A-pillars, and under the door sills.
- Mount the rear camera on the rear windshield, ensuring a clear view.
4.4. Inserting SD Card
- Ensure the dash cam is powered off.
- Insert a Class 10 Micro SD card (16GB to 256GB recommended) into the designated SD card slot until it clicks into place.
- Power on the dash cam. It is recommended to format the SD card through the dash cam's settings menu upon first use.
5. Operation
5.1. Basic Recording
The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on. It will automatically power off when the ignition is turned off.
5.2. Loop Recording
The dash cam supports loop recording, which means when the Micro SD card is full, it will automatically overwrite the oldest unlocked video files to continue recording. This ensures continuous, uninterrupted recording. The recording duration depends on the SD card capacity:
- 64GB: Approximately 6 hours of footage
- 128GB: Approximately 12 hours of footage
- 256GB: Approximately 24 hours of footage

5.3. G-Sensor (Collision Mode)
The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When an impact is detected, the dash cam will automatically lock the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical evidence is preserved.

5.4. 24H Parking Mode (Time-Lapse Recording)
To enable 24-hour parking monitoring, a hardwire kit (sold separately or included in specific packages) is required. When connected, the dash cam can continue recording in time-lapse mode (e.g., 1 frame per second) after the car is turned off, protecting your vehicle and property.
Note: A hardwire kit is required for this function.

5.5. Night Vision (Cabin IR Mode)
The dash cam features IR night vision for the cabin camera. When the sensor detects low-light conditions inside the cabin, the IR light will automatically activate to capture clear video recordings of the interior.

5.6. WiFi & App Connect
The dash cam features built-in WiFi, allowing you to connect it to a dedicated mobile application. With the app, you can:
- View live footage from the dash cam.
- Download recorded videos directly to your smartphone.
- Edit and share your recordings.
The app is available on both App Store and Google Play.

5.7. GPS Functionality
The external GPS module provides location and speed data, which is recorded along with the video footage. This data can be viewed via the mobile application or dedicated playback software on a computer.
6. Maintenance
6.1. SD Card Management
- Regularly format your Micro SD card (at least once a month) through the dash cam's settings menu to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
- Use only high-quality Class 10 Micro SD cards from reputable brands to avoid recording issues.
- Replace the SD card if you notice frequent errors or degraded performance.
6.2. Cleaning
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dash cam lenses and screen.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the device.
- Keep the dash cam free from dust and debris to ensure clear recordings.
7. Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam Not Powering On / Random Shutdowns: Ensure the dash cam is connected to a 12V power supply. Using a 24V power supply directly will damage the motherboard. If your vehicle uses 24V, a 24V to 12V converter (BL) is required.
- Video Recording Issues (Skipping, Freezing, Poor Quality): This is often caused by a low-quality or low-speed Micro SD card. Always use a high-quality Class 10 Micro SD card (16GB to 256GB). If issues persist, try formatting the card or replacing it with a new, compatible one.
- Rear Camera Not Working: Ensure you are using the original Acceo rear camera provided with your package. Due to differences in chipset and camera sensors, compatibility with third-party rear cameras cannot be guaranteed. Check all cable connections for security.
- App Connection Issues: Ensure WiFi is enabled on the dash cam and your smartphone. Follow the app's instructions for connecting to the dash cam's WiFi network.
8. User Tips
- Audio Recording: The dash cam is capable of recording audio. Ensure the audio recording function is enabled in the settings if you wish to capture sound.
- Language Support: The dash cam's OSD (On-Screen Display) supports Chinese (Simplified), English, Portuguese, and Spanish. You can change the language in the device settings.
- Optimal SD Card Usage: For best performance and longevity of your recordings, consider purchasing an original Acceo TF Card if you are unsure about the quality of your current card.
9. Warranty and Support
The Acceo 4K Dash Cam B72P comes with a 365-day warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions under normal use. Please retain your proof of purchase for warranty claims.
