2.2. Rear Interface Description (Wiring Diagram)
Familiarize yourself with the rear connections of the head unit. Proper wiring is crucial for correct operation.

Image: Rear Interface Description and Power Plug connections.
Power Plug Connections:
- Yellow (B+): Constant Power Supply (+12V). Keeps power on for memory function.
- Red (ACC): Ignition Switch. Provides +12V when ignition is on.
- Black (GND): Ground Wire.
- Orange (ILLUMINATION): Illuminates backlight.
- Pink (REVERSE): Reversing camera control line.
- Brown (KEY2) & Orange/black striped (KEY1): Steering Wheel Control lines.
- Blue (ANT): Auto Antenna Power.
Important Wiring Notes:
- When the yellow line B+ and the red line ACC have a 12V positive power at the same time, the unit can be turned on normally.
- The yellow line B+ keeps the power on and the machine has a memory function.
- 8 speaker cables: Each cable cannot be grounded, cannot be shared, and cannot touch other lines. Otherwise, there will be no sound output, output sound distortion, or machine overheating.
Audio/Video Input/Output:
- F-CAM (VIDEO-IN-2): Video Input 2 (Front Camera Input)
- AUX R IN / AUX L IN: Right/Left Audio Input
- VIDEO-IN-1: Video Input 1
- VIDEO OUT: Video Output
- FR OUT / FL OUT: Front Right/Left Audio Output
- SUB WOOF: Subwoofer Output
- MIC: Microphone Input
- AMP CONT: Amplifier Control
Other Connections:
- BT Antenna
- R-CAM: Reversing Camera Input
- WiFi Antenna
- USB1/2: USB Port
- Protocol Box: Only use when needed (CANBUS).
2.3. CANBUS Connect
The CANBUS box is used for integrating the car stereo with your vehicle's existing systems, such as steering wheel controls. There are different connection methods for high-end and low-end car models.

Image: CANBUS Connect for high-end and low-end models.
- For high-end model car: Disconnect the CANBUS box, then connect the CANBUS.
- For low-end model car: Connect the CANBUS box, then disconnect it.
Attention: If the CANBUS box and black buckle are connected simultaneously, it may cause the radio to fail to shut down after the car is turned off.
2.4. Reversing Camera Installation Method
Proper installation of the reversing camera ensures safe parking assistance.

Image: Reversing Camera Installation Method.
Wiring Steps:
- Yellow cable: Connect to the navigation reversing video input socket.
- Red cable: Connect to the reverse detection line of the navigation adapter (BACK or REVERSE).
- Connect ③ and ④ together: Then connect the positive pole of the reverse light power supply.
- Black cable ⑤: Connect the body screw to the ground or the negative pole of the reverse light power supply.
If the reversing camera is not installed, please do not connect the REVERSE/BACK cable to any place. Leave the cable unconnected. Otherwise, the machine will not display properly, or it will automatically enter reverse mode, which may cause the machine to fail. In such a situation, disconnect the REVERSE/BACK line as soon as possible to avoid affecting normal use.

4. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your XIMA Android Car Stereo, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and unit. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface.
- Software Updates: Periodically check for software updates to ensure you have the latest features and bug fixes. Updates can usually be found on the manufacturer's website or through the device's settings.
- Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or excessive moisture.
- Fuse Replacement: If a fuse blows, replace it with a fuse of the correct rating (e.g., 10A as indicated on the power plug). Repeated fuse blowing indicates a deeper electrical issue that requires professional attention.
5. Common Problems and Simple Troubleshooting
5.1. Cannot boot normally
- Wiring Check: Ensure the "Yellow" (B+), "Red" (ACC), and "Black" (GND) wires are correctly connected. Yellow to positive, Red to key control, Black to negative. Incorrect or incomplete connections will prevent booting.
- Original Car Wiring: If the original car wiring colors do not match standard, connecting by color may cause issues or damage.
- Direct Plug-in: The original car plug cannot be directly plugged into the new unit. Even if it fits, it may not work or could cause damage.
- Fuse Check: If the 3 wires are connected correctly but it doesn't boot, check the fuse on the yellow line. If the fuse is intact, twist the yellow and red wires together, turn on the key, and press the unit's power button.
- Repeated Fuse Blowing: If the fuse blows repeatedly, do not replace it again. This indicates a short circuit in the unit's protection circuit. The unit requires repair by a professional.
- Final Test: If all checks fail, connect the "Yellow" and "Red" wires directly to a 12V battery (positive) and "Black" to negative. If it boots, the issue is with your car's wiring. If not, the unit is faulty.
5.2. Automatic shut-down
- Cable Error: If the blue cable (automatic antenna power supply) is connected to the unit's power cable, it will automatically shut down. Follow correct wiring.
- Unstable Voltage: Test with a stable 12V-5A power supply. If it still shuts down, the unit is faulty.
5.3. Noise Issues
- Low Speaker Power: If the original speaker power is too low, increasing volume will cause noise. Solution: Do not set the volume too high.
- Grounded Speaker Cable: If a speaker cable is grounded, connect the iron speaker cable directly to the unit's speaker cable.
5.4. Remote control cannot be used
- Test Method: Use your phone camera to check the remote control's IR emitter. If it doesn't light up when a button is pressed, replace the battery. If it lights up, the remote control is functional.
5.5. Settings not saved (no memory)
- The yellow and red lines are connected together (yellow to positive, red to key control).
- Yellow and red are reversed (change positions).
5.6. Bluetooth not working
Turn on the machine, search for the Bluetooth name of the machine using your mobile phone's Bluetooth, and then click Connect. After connecting, you can answer calls or play songs via Bluetooth.
5.7. Product emits smoke
Replace the FUSE. If the problem persists, the internal circuit is burned. After-sales service is required.
5.8. Sound cannot be adjusted
- Reset the unit or unplug and replug the power cord.
- The Volume knob is broken and needs replacement.
5.9. Reversing camera does not display
- Wrong wiring or missing wiring. Refer to section 2.4 for correct wiring.
- The camera is broken. If the properly wired camera does not light up, it needs replacement.
5.10. USB devices cannot be played
Format the USB flash disk to FAT32. Re-download one or two songs and try again. If it still doesn't work, replace the USB flash drive.
5.11. FM does not receive radio stations
- The antenna plug is not fully inserted, or the antenna/line is disconnected.
- Search for stations: Press AS for automatic search, or use the before/after buttons.
- If the above fails, unplug the antenna plug and insert a screwdriver or metal strip in its place.
5.12. No sound right after installation
The unit is tested before shipment. If there is no sound, it's usually a wiring error or a short-circuited original car speaker wire. Check if the speaker cable is short-circuited and connected. Reconnect if necessary. Verify the number of speaker cables; if only 2 are present for a system requiring 4, re-route the original car line. One speaker needs 2 wires, two speakers need 4 wires.
5.13. No sound after a while
Disconnect all speaker cables from the unit (do not remove them). Connect an external speaker to the gray and purple wires of the tail line. Test any group. If there is sound, the car's speaker line is short-circuited or the speaker is damaged. If no sound, the unit is broken.
