5. Setup and Installation
Installation Steps
The product uses standard ISO and RCA plugs. Please connect or re-wire carefully according to the wiring diagram provided below. Incorrect wiring can prevent the unit from turning on or cause damage.
Important: Do not use original car plugs directly if the PIN wired area is not the same as the unit's back plug. Direct insertion may lead to wiring errors due to variations in car interface PIN definitions across manufacturers.

6. Operating Instructions
Basic Controls
The device features a 7-inch HD touch screen for intuitive control. Physical buttons on the left side typically include power, volume up/down, and menu/mode selection.
Language Setting
The default display language is English. To change the language, navigate to: “Setup” -> “System” -> “Language” on the device screen.

Bluetooth Connection
To connect your smartphone via Bluetooth:
- First, open the Bluetooth interface on the car stereo device.
- Then, in the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone, search for the device name.
- Enter the code displayed on the MP5's screen when prompted.
- The device will automatically connect in the future.

MirrorLink/CarPlay/AndroidAuto (for certain models)
To use smartphone integration features:
- Connect your smartphone to the device via USB cable, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi.
- Click the corresponding function on the device's screen.
- Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
Prerequisites:
- For CarPlay, you need to activate Siri on your iPhone.
- For AndroidAuto and MirrorLink, you need to install the corresponding app on your smartphone.

Steering Wheel Controls
The device supports infrared wireless steering wheel controls for easy operation while driving. Ensure the steering wheel controller has a CR2025 battery installed.

FM Radio
Access the FM radio function from the main menu. You can tune to stations within the 87.5-108MHz frequency range. Use the on-screen controls to scan, adjust frequency, and save presets.
Reversing Camera (Optional)
If a reversing camera is connected, the display will automatically switch to the camera view when the vehicle is put into reverse gear. The system supports IP67 waterproof 12 LED cameras (optional accessory).

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior of the unit. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or high humidity.
- Fuse Replacement: If a fuse needs replacement, ensure you use a fuse with the correct rating and consult a professional if unsure.
8. Troubleshooting
Unit Does Not Turn On
Q: When I install the unit, it doesn't turn on. What is the solution?
A:
- Ensure the wiring is connected correctly according to the provided wiring diagram (Figure 5.1 and 5.2). If connected incorrectly, the unit will not turn on.
- Do not use the original car plug directly if the PIN wired area is not the same as the unit's back plug. Direct insertion may lead to wiring errors and prevent the unit from turning on.
Reversing Camera Display Issues
Q: The screen "flashes" or shows an "AUX interface flag", "begin reversing", "No signal", "Camera", "Reversing", "back up", or "no video signal" when trying to use the reversing camera. How to solve this?
A: Please check the connection of the camera cable. If the above problem occurs, disconnect the pink color "back/reversing line" wire. This should resolve the issue.

9. User Tips
- For optimal Mirror Link performance, ensure your smartphone's operating system is up-to-date and the corresponding app is installed.
- When connecting via Bluetooth, ensure both the car stereo and your smartphone have Bluetooth enabled and are in pairing mode.
- Always test all functions, especially steering wheel controls and reversing camera, in a safe environment after installation.
