4. Maintenance
4.1 General Care
- Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or excessive moisture.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on the display or casing.
4.2 Clearing Fault Codes
In OBD mode, the device can read and clear fault codes. Navigate to the 'Clear fault code' option in the menu to perform this action. This can help resolve minor engine light issues.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Common Issues and Solutions
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| HUD does not power on. | Loose OBD2 cable connection, vehicle not compatible, vehicle's OBD2 port not supplying power. | Check OBD2 cable connection. Ensure vehicle is running. Verify car model and year compatibility. |
| No data displayed in OBD mode. | Vehicle not OBD2 compliant, incorrect settings, faulty OBD2 connection. | Confirm vehicle OBD2 compatibility. Reconnect OBD2 cable. Check HUD settings. |
| Turbo pressure not displayed or incorrect. | Vehicle does not have a turbocharger, or it's not a 2.0T type engine. | This function requires a compatible turbocharging system in the car (e.g., 2.0T). If your car lacks this, no data will be displayed. This is a car hardware limitation. |
| GPS data is inaccurate or slow to update. | Poor satellite signal, device obstruction. | Ensure the device has a clear view of the sky. Move to an open area for better signal acquisition. |
| Display stutter or delay. | Rare, but could be a software issue. | The device has a 10 Hz refresh rate to prevent this. If it occurs, try restarting the device or vehicle. If persistent, contact support. |
5.2 Alarms
The device provides various alarms to alert the driver:
- OBD Mode Alarms: Overspeed alarm, speed alarm, water temperature alarm, voltage alarm.
- GPS Mode Alarms: Overspeed alarm, low voltage alarm.
Refer to the device settings to configure or disable specific alarms.

7. User Tips
- Check Compatibility First: Always verify your car's OBD2 compatibility (model and year) before installation to avoid issues. If unsure, consult customer support.
- Turbo Functionality: The turbo pressure display requires your car to have a built-in turbocharger, typically indicated by 'T' after the engine displacement (e.g., 2.0T). Without this, the function will not display data.
- Optimal Placement: Experiment with both A-pillar trim and dashboard installation to find the position that offers the best visibility and least distraction for your driving style.
- Unit Customization: Take advantage of the automatic unit switching (MPH/Fahrenheit/Miles/Gallon MPG) and manual turbo pressure unit selection to match your preferred measurement system.
- Regular Fault Code Checks: Utilize the 'Clear fault code' feature in OBD mode to quickly address minor diagnostic trouble codes and keep your vehicle's system clear.
8. Warranty and Support
