6. Maintenance

  • Clean the switch surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the switch is kept dry and away from excessive moisture.
  • Regularly check for any loose connections or damage to the wiring. If any issues are found, consult a qualified electrician.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Switch not responding / Not pairing: Ensure the switch is in pairing mode (blue and purple backlight flashing alternately). If not, long-press any button for 5 seconds to reset. For ZigBee versions, ensure the ZigBee gateway is properly connected and added to the app.
  • LED bulb flickering (ZigBee version without neutral wire): If the LED bulb flickers when the switch is installed without a neutral wire, install an extra capacitor in parallel with the L1 lamp.
  • ZigBee gateway connection failed: If the indicator light is solid purple, the ZigBee gateway connection has failed. Check your gateway's connection to the 2.4G Wi-Fi network and its status in the app.
  • Switch not fitting in round installation box: The product is designed for standard EU wall boxes. Please verify your installation box dimensions for compatibility.

8. User Tips

  • For optimal performance and stability, ensure your ZigBee gateway (if applicable) is within a reasonable range of your smart switches.
  • Utilize the timing function to automate lights in areas like porches or hallways, enhancing security and energy efficiency.
  • Experiment with different relay status settings to find what works best for your home in case of power interruptions.
  • While the ZigBee version offers neutral wire flexibility, a neutral wire connection generally provides more stable operation.
