7. Troubleshooting

7.1. Connectivity Issues

  • Wireless Disconnection: Ensure the 8K Native Receiver is securely plugged into a USB port. Check the mouse's battery level. Try re-pairing the mouse with the receiver if necessary (refer to driver software for pairing instructions).
  • Interference: If experiencing signal drops, try moving the receiver closer to the mouse or using the USB adapter to position the receiver away from other wireless devices.

7.2. DPI or Polling Rate Not Changing

  • Ensure the driver software is installed and up to date.
  • Verify that the DIY key is correctly configured for DPI or polling rate switching in the software.
  • Check the receiver's indicator light for visual confirmation of DPI changes.

7.3. Buttons Not Responding

  • Check the driver software for any conflicting button assignments or macros.
  • Ensure the mouse is fully charged.
  • If using wired mode, ensure the cable is securely connected.

7.4. Mouse Lag or Stuttering

  • Reduce the polling rate if your system struggles to keep up, especially at 8000Hz.
  • Ensure no other high-bandwidth USB devices are interfering.
  • Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.

9. User Tips

  • Driver Customization: Always install the 'A Hub' driver software to unlock the full potential of your mouse, including button remapping, macro creation, and fine-tuning performance settings like LOD and debounce.
  • Polling Rate Experimentation: While 8000Hz offers the lowest latency, it can be demanding on your system. Experiment with different polling rates (e.g., 1000Hz, 2000Hz, 4000Hz) to find the optimal balance between performance and system stability for your setup.
  • LOD Adjustment: If you experience issues with tracking when lifting the mouse, adjust the Lift-Off Distance (LOD) in the driver software. Different mouse pads may require different LOD settings for optimal performance.
  • Battery Management: For competitive gaming, consider using wired mode or charging the mouse between sessions to ensure consistent performance and avoid unexpected battery depletion.
